How to Use

Use the two formulas consistently as your morning-and-evening pigmentation routine.

Morning – MeLine 02 Ethnic Skin Day

1. Cleanse the face and gently pat the skin dry.
2. Apply a small amount of the Day serum evenly over the entire face.
3. Allow the serum to absorb completely.
4. Follow with MeLine 03 Moist when additional hydration is needed.
5. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher.

Evening – MeLine 02 Ethnic Skin Night

1. Cleanse the face and allow the skin to dry completely.
2. Apply a thin layer to areas affected by pigmentation, or across the face when directed by your skincare professional.
3. Massage gently until completely absorbed.
4. Follow with MeLine 03 Moist when additional hydration or barrier support is needed.

Use consistently for up to 90 days or according to your skincare professional’s directions. MeLine’s current Day protocol recommends a minimum of 30 days, while the complete treatment period may be extended according to the type and persistence of your pigmentation.

When used after the professional MeLine 01 Ethnic Skin application, begin the home-care protocol on the fourth day unless your practitioner provides different instructions.

If irritation develops, reduce the Night formula to every other evening for two to three weeks before gradually returning to nightly use. Discontinue application and contact your skincare professional if persistent discomfort or inflammation occurs.

Avoid the eye contour, lips and broken or irritated skin. Do not layer the Night formula with another retinoid or apply additional strong exfoliating products during the same routine unless directed by a skincare professional.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation

Pigmentation in phototypes IV–VI requires precision—not aggression.

Inflammation and irritation can contribute to visible post-inflammatory pigmentation in medium-to-deep skin tones. Adding more exfoliation or using the formulas more frequently than directed will not necessarily produce faster results and may make discolouration more difficult to manage.

Keep the remainder of your routine gentle, hydrating and barrier-supportive. Apply SPF 50+ every morning and reapply during prolonged exposure. For melasma-prone complexions or pigmentation influenced by visible light, consider a tinted sunscreen containing iron oxides for more complete daily protection.

MeLine B.B. Cream may provide tint and tone correction, but it is not officially classified as a sunscreen in Canada. Apply an approved broad-spectrum sunscreen first and use the B.B. Cream as an additional complexion-perfecting layer.

What is the difference between the Day and Night formulas?

Does MeLine B.B. Cream replace sunscreen?

No. MeLine B.B. Cream is not officially classified as a sunscreen in Canada. Apply an approved broad-spectrum SPF 50+ first, then layer the B.B. Cream for tint and additional complexion correction.
