iS Clinical Active Serum is a lightweight botanical serum that helps refine visible texture, minimize the look of blemishes and congestion, and bring back a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
Sugarcane, bilberry and willow bark extracts gently resurface the skin’s surface, while mushroom extract and arbutin help even out the look of tone. A brief cooling tingle on application is normal.

How to Use
- After cleansing, dispense 3 to 4 drops into your palm.
- Spread evenly over the face and neck with your fingertips, avoiding the eye area.
- Follow with a hydrating serum such as Hydra-Cool Serum and your moisturizer. Apply sunscreen every morning.
Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
We usually recommend Active Serum in the evening, especially when you are starting out. The tingle is a sensation, not a measure of how well it works: if your skin stays red or uncomfortable, use it every other night or follow it with Hydra-Cool Serum to keep skin comfortable.
Many of our clients also use a tiny amount as a targeted step on individual blemishes. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your healthcare provider before using it, as it contains arbutin.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the tingle normal?
Yes. A brief cooling tingle is normal and fades quickly. If redness or discomfort persists, reduce how often you use it and ask our team for guidance.
Morning or evening?
It can be used either way, but we recommend starting in the evening. Always wear sunscreen during the day.
Can I use it with retinol?
Introduce one active at a time. Many clients alternate Active Serum and retinol on different evenings.
