- Avoid the eye contour and gently massage until completely absorbed.
- Follow with MeLine 03 Moist when additional hydration or comfort is needed.
- Use consistently according to your personalized MeLine protocol.
- Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 50 or higher every morning.
- If your skincare professional has recommended a gradual introduction, begin every other evening for two to three weeks before progressing to more frequent use.
- The formula already contains retinal and mandelic acid. Avoid layering it with another retinoid, strong exfoliating acid or scrub unless directed by a skincare professional. If persistent irritation develops, discontinue use and contact your practitioner.

Nighttime renewal should never come at the expense of the skin barrier.
Medium to deep skin tones can be especially prone to lingering dark marks when the skin becomes irritated. Use MeLine 02 Ethnic Skin Night exactly as recommended and resist the temptation to add extra retinoids or exfoliating acids. More intensity does not necessarily produce faster—or better—results.
Keep the remainder of your evening routine gentle and barrier-supportive. Follow with MeLine 03 Moist when needed, and protect the skin every morning with SPF 50+. A tinted sunscreen containing iron oxides can provide additional protection against visible light.

Does “Ethnic Skin” refer to ethnicity?
“Ethnic Skin Night” is MeLine’s official product name, but suitability should be determined by Fitzpatrick phototype, pigmentation pattern and professional skin assessment—not ethnicity alone.
What is the difference between MeLine Ethnic Skin Day and Night?
MeLine Ethnic Skin Day is a morning serum containing ingredients such as tranexamic acid, pyruvic acid and salicylic acid. The Night formula contains retinal, mandelic acid, arbutin, niacinamide and cysteamine to support overnight surface renewal and target visible pigmentation in complementary ways.
Should I apply it to my entire face?
Apply a thin layer across the face or specifically to the areas recommended by your skincare professional. Placement may vary according to your pigmentation pattern and personalized MeLine protocol.
Can I use it every evening?
Follow the frequency recommended by your skincare professional. If a gradual introduction has been advised, begin every other evening for two to three weeks before increasing the frequency. Do not push through persistent irritation.
How long should I use it?
The duration should be personalized according to your skin, pigmentation concerns and professional protocol. Consistent use is important, but no cosmetic product can guarantee complete results within a fixed number of days.
Can I use it with retinol?
MeLine Ethnic Skin Night already contains retinal, a vitamin A derivative. Avoid combining it with another retinol, retinal or prescription retinoid unless specifically directed by a qualified professional.
Can I apply MeLine 03 Moist afterward?
Yes. Allow MeLine Ethnic Skin Night to absorb completely before applying MeLine 03 Moist for additional hydration and comfort.
Does this product replace sunscreen?
No. Although the formula contains titanium dioxide and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, it is not a substitute for sunscreen. Apply a dedicated broad-spectrum SPF 50+ every morning and reapply throughout the day.
