Biologique Recherche Sérum Iso-Placenta
Biologique Recherche Iso-Placenta is a facial serum created specifically for blemish-prone skin and the visible traces that can remain after a breakout. It helps reduce the appearance of both recent and older post-blemish marks, soothe the look of redness and refine uneven-looking texture for a smoother, more even-looking complexion.
At its heart is Biologique Recherche's Biomimetic Placenta, an ingredient complex designed to reproduce key elements associated with human placenta. The current INCI does not list human placenta: the formula combines botanical extracts, peptides, amino-acid derivatives, ferment extracts and skin-conditioning ingredients.
An active blemish and the mark it leaves are not the same concern. Rather than focusing on active oil, Iso-Placenta is centred on the visible aftermath of blemishes, the stage many routines forget. With consistent use, skin looks smoother, calmer and more even, and post-breakout marks become less noticeable. A cosmetic serum helps the look of flat marks; it cannot erase deep, indented or raised scars.

- Apply after cleansing and the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant, and before your moisturizer.
- Apply approximately 1 ml to clean skin over the face, neck and décolleté.
- Massage gently using light upward movements until completely absorbed.
- It may also be applied more specifically to areas showing post-blemish marks, according to the needs of your Skin Instant.
- If using several serums, apply your lighter, more fluid serums first.

Is Iso-Placenta for active breakouts?
It focuses on the visible marks left after blemishes. If active blemishes, oiliness and excess sebum are the primary concerns, Complexe Iribiol may be more targeted.
Does Iso-Placenta help with scars?
It helps the look of flat post-blemish marks, redness and uneven microrelief. Deep, indented or raised scars are different: a cosmetic serum cannot erase them, and they should be assessed by a qualified professional.
Does it contain human placenta?
No human placenta is listed in the current ingredient list. Biologique Recherche describes its Biomimetic Placenta as designed to reproduce essential elements associated with human placenta.
Is it a brightening serum?
Its primary role is the look of post-blemish marks and uneven texture. The complexion may look brighter as marks fade, but it is not a general pigmentation serum; Sérum PIGM 400 is the dedicated choice for broader pigmentation.
