Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
Dream is best suited to skin that needs more nourishment than a lightweight gel cream can provide. Apply it as the final moisturizing step of your evening routine, or follow with a few drops of facial oil when the skin feels especially depleted.
Although Dream and SkinHero™ are both described as bio-retinol products, they use different ingredients. SkinHero™ is a targeted 2% bakuchiol serum, while Dream is a nourishing moisturizer formulated with Bidens pilosa extract.
Most clients do not need to introduce both products simultaneously. Begin with one, establish tolerance and add the second only if it serves a clear purpose within the routine.

What Picão Preto Bio-Retinol Means
The term “bio-retinol” can be confusing. Dream does not contain retinol, retinal, retinoic acid or another vitamin A derivative.
Its featured ingredient is Bidens pilosa extract, also known as Picão Preto—a botanical native to South America that is used in cosmetic formulas intended to support smoother, more even-looking skin.
Unlike retinol, Bidens pilosa does not need to convert into retinoic acid within the skin. “Bio-retinol” describes its intended cosmetic role rather than its chemical identity, and it should not be considered interchangeable with a traditional retinoid.

Is Dream a retinol cream?
No. Dream does not contain retinol or another retinoid. It contains Bidens pilosa extract, a botanical ingredient marketed as a bio-retinol alternative.
How is Dream different from SkinHero™?
SkinHero™ is a targeted serum formulated with 2% bakuchiol. Dream is a rich nighttime moisturizer containing Bidens pilosa extract, Shorea butter, murumuru butter and squalane.
Can Dream be used every night?
Yes. Dream is designed for nightly use. Patch test first and introduce it gradually if your skin is particularly reactive.
Is Dream suitable for dry skin?
Yes. Its blend of squalane, Shorea butter, murumuru butter and plant oils makes it particularly suitable for dry or moisture-depleted skin.
Can combination or oily skin use Dream?
Yes, but its rich texture may be more nourishment than some oily skin types require. Begin with a small amount or reserve it for drier areas and colder seasons.
Will Dream cause the peeling associated with retinol?
Dream does not contain retinol and is not expected to create traditional retinoid peeling. Any skincare product can still cause sensitivity, so patch testing remains important.
Can I use Dream with SkinHero™, retinol or exfoliating acids?
It may be possible, but introducing several active products simultaneously can make irritation difficult to identify. Begin with one treatment at a time and alternate evenings when necessary.
Is Dream fragrance-free?
The current ingredient list does not include added fragrance, essential oils or declared fragrance allergens.
Can Dream be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Dream does not contain a traditional retinoid, but safety data for many botanical cosmetic ingredients during pregnancy and breastfeeding are limited. Consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before introducing it.
