Face sunscreen is the final step in a well-designed morning skincare routine. Formulas created for the face often offer lighter textures, more refined finishes, less visible white cast and better compatibility with makeup than traditional body sunscreen.

The best face sunscreen is not determined by one filter or finish. Mineral sunscreens use zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or both. Formulas commonly described as chemical sunscreens use organic UV filters, while hybrid sunscreens combine the two.
