Biologique Recherche Eau Micellaire Biosensible is a gentle micellar cleansing water created specifically for sensitive, reactive and fragile Skin Instants. Its lightweight formula removes makeup, excess sebum and daily impurities while helping preserve the skin's hydrolipidic film. Moisturizing and soothing ingredients help maintain comfort, so the skin feels clean, soft and refreshed rather than tight or stripped. Micelles are tiny cleansing structures suspended in water, with one side attracted to water and the other to oils and impurities. Passed over the skin on a cotton pad, they help capture makeup, sebum, pollution particles and daily surface impurities and lift them away, without aggressive rubbing or a harsh foaming cleanse. It is particularly useful when the skin needs effective cleansing with minimal manipulation: during a reactive period, as a quick morning cleanse, while travelling, or whenever a traditional cleansing routine feels like too much.

Repeat with a clean cotton pad as needed until makeup and impurities have been completely removed.

No rinsing is required: once cleansing is complete, gently dry the skin with a clean paper tissue.

A light micellar water applied with a cotton pad. No rinsing needed: the skin is simply patted dry and feels soft, fresh and comfortable, never tight.
Works well with
For lighter daily residue, it may be enough on its own. For heavier makeup or water-resistant sunscreen, follow with an appropriate cleansing milk such as Lait Dermo-S. Then continue with the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant, followed by your serums, cream and finishing products. When sensitivity is high, simpler is often better.

Does it need to be rinsed?
No. Biologique Recherche's current application method does not require rinsing. Gently dry the skin with a clean paper tissue.
Does it remove makeup and sunscreen?
Yes. It removes makeup and helps remove everyday sunscreen. For heavier, highly water-resistant sunscreen or makeup, you may prefer to follow with an appropriate cleansing milk.
Can I use it as my only cleanser?
For lighter daily residue, it may be enough. With heavier makeup, water-resistant sunscreen or significant buildup, an additional cleansing step may make more sense.
Is it alcohol-free?
The current ingredient list does not contain Alcohol Denat. Formulas can change, so always check the ingredient list on your packaging if you need to avoid a specific ingredient.
Does it contain essential oils?
Yes. The current formula contains grapefruit peel oil and spearmint leaf oil, along with aromatic compounds such as limonene, citral, eugenol and linalool. If you have known sensitivities to essential oils or fragrance ingredients, contact our team before purchasing.
What is the difference with Lait Dermo-S?
Both are designed with fragile skin in mind. Eau Micellaire Biosensible is a light micellar water that cleanses with minimal manipulation; Lait Dermo-S is a high-tolerance cleansing milk for a more traditional, emulsifying cleanse.
