Not every change in the face begins with a wrinkle. Sometimes what you notice first is the outline: a softer-looking jawline, a less defined area beneath the chin, a lower face that no longer looks as structured. Biologique Recherche Platysma is a single-use firming chin mask designed specifically for this submental and lower-face area.

The mask does two jobs at once. Its unique stretch fabric anchors around the ears and beneath the chin, creating a controlled, massage-like tension across the lower face, while the fabric is saturated with a concentrated firming serum that works over the jawline and neck.

After 20 minutes, the lower face appears more toned, facial contours look more defined and the jawline looks visibly refined. The effect is cosmetic and temporary: the mask does not permanently change the shape of the face, and that is still a very useful result when used for the right reason.

How to use

1. Begin with clean, dry skin on the face and neck.
2. Open the sachet and unfold Platysma completely, positioning the guide tab at the upper left.
3. Place the upper openings around the ears.
4. Press the lower section beneath the chin.
5. Secure the lower openings around the ears.
6. Smooth the fabric so it follows the contours of the jawline and lower face.
7. Leave on for 20 minutes.
8. Remove and discard the mask, then follow with your appropriate moisturizer.
9. Single-use product. For external use only.

How long do I leave it on, and is it reusable?

Biologique Recherche recommends 20 minutes. It is a single-use mask.

Does Platysma lift the jawline permanently?

No. It can make the jawline look visibly more defined after use, but the result should be understood as temporary cosmetic tautening rather than a permanent change in the shape of the face.

What is the difference with VG Tensil?

Platysma is an occasional 20-minute mask focused on the jawline and lower face. VG Tensil is an ongoing serum for Skin Instants experiencing a loss of tone and firmness.

What is the difference with Masque Caviar Vert?

Masque Caviar Vert is a full-face biocellulose mask focused on wrinkles, smoothing and tautening. Platysma is a stretch-fabric mask designed around the chin and lower facial contours.

Does Platysma contain collagen or rye?

The current INCI does not list collagen. It does contain Secale Cereale (Rye) Seed Extract; if you have known ingredient sensitivities or allergies, please contact us before purchasing.
