Cleanse, apply the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant, then apply Masque VIP O₂ for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water. Follow with your serums and cream, and apply makeup once your skincare has settled. Depending on your Skin Instant, it can be combined with Masque Vivant in the same masking ritual when skin is both congested and dull, or oil-prone and dehydrated. Avoid immediate sun exposure after the mask.

Powered by the new-generation patented VIP O₂ Complex, which combines melatonin with two cofactors, it focuses on visible skin quality: hydration, radiance and texture. It helps skin look more rested and energized while delivering immediate moisture and comfort.
In just 15 minutes, the skin feels deeply hydrated and appears smoother, fresher and more luminous, with refined-looking texture and a more even complexion. Is Masque VIP O₂ still an oxygenating mask?
VIP O₂ remains Biologique Recherche's next-generation oxygenation collection, but the current formula is centred on energized-looking skin. Its patented complex uses melatonin and cofactors to help dull, tired-looking skin look more radiant and rested.
How often and how long should I use it?
Biologique Recherche currently recommends 3 times per week, for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
Can I use it around my eyes or on my lips?
No. The current instructions say to avoid the eye contour area and mucous membranes; apply it to the face, neck and décolleté.
Does it lighten the skin?
It helps restore visible luminosity for a brighter, more even-looking complexion. It is not designed to change your natural skin tone.
Can I mix it with Masque Vivant?
Yes, depending on your Skin Instant. It is a popular combination when skin needs purification from Masque Vivant alongside hydration and radiance from VIP O₂. If you are new to these masks, learn what each one does on its own first.
Can sensitive skin use it?
The manufacturer's primary recommendation is for dull and lacklustre Skin Instants rather than sensitivity. The formula contains Lavandula Hybrida Extract, Tea Tree Leaf Oil and aromatic constituents, so contact us first if your skin is highly reactive or you have known ingredient sensitivities.
Does it contain nuts?
Yes. The formula contains ingredients derived from macadamia. If you have a nut allergy, please book a consultation with one of our estheticians before purchasing.
