- Use morning and evening.
- After applying water-based serums and before moisturizer, dispense one small pea-sized amount for both eyes.
- Gently distribute the cream beneath the eyes using the cooling ceramic tip. Finish by lightly tapping with your ring finger until absorbed. Apply along the orbital bone, avoiding direct contact with the eyes and lash line.
- For an enhanced cooling effect, store the eye cream in the refrigerator.
- Patch test before first use.

First Light® is an excellent everyday eye cream when puffiness and fatigue are the first things you notice in the morning. Keep it refrigerated and use the ceramic tip to gently glide from the inner under-eye area outward, without pressing or repeatedly pulling the skin.
A small amount is enough. Applying too much eye cream can cause product buildup, interfere with concealer or migrate toward the eyes.
For an enhanced morning treatment, begin with Brighter Days™ Biodegradable Eye Masks. After removing the masks and allowing the serum to absorb, follow with a thin layer of First Light® before moisturizer, sunscreen and concealer.

How Vitamin C and Caffeine Support the Eye Area
First Light® contains acerola cherry extract, a botanical naturally rich in vitamin C. This is not the same as a concentrated pure ascorbic acid treatment. Instead, acerola provides gentle antioxidant support while helping the eye area appear brighter and more even with consistent use.
Topical caffeine can help temporarily reduce the appearance of puffiness and support a more refreshed look. Its effect is cosmetic rather than permanent, making daily use and the cooling ceramic applicator especially helpful for morning puffiness.
Dark circles can also be caused by genetics, natural pigmentation, visible blood vessels or structural hollowing. First Light® can improve brightness, hydration and fatigue-related shadows, but it cannot permanently correct every cause of under-eye darkness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is First Light® a vitamin C eye cream or a caffeine eye cream?
It is both. The formula combines vitamin C-rich acerola cherry extract with upcycled coffee-derived caffeine to target visible dullness, dark circles and puffiness.
What form of vitamin C does it contain?
First Light® uses acerola cherry fruit extract, a botanical naturally rich in vitamin C. It does not contain pure ascorbic acid and is designed to offer gentler antioxidant and brightening support.
Can First Light® permanently remove dark circles?
No eye cream can permanently correct every type of dark circle. First Light® can improve the appearance of dullness, uneven tone, dryness and fatigue-related shadows. Genetic pigmentation, visible blood vessels and structural hollowing may respond differently.
Does it help with puffiness?
Yes. Coffee-derived caffeine and the cooling ceramic applicator help temporarily reduce the appearance of puffiness and create a more refreshed look.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. First Light® is dermatologist-tested and recommended by the brand for sensitive skin. It is formulated without added fragrance or essential oils. Patch testing is still recommended.
Can I use it morning and evening?
Yes. First Light® can be used twice daily. Its brightening, depuffing benefits make it particularly useful in the morning.
How much should I apply?
Use one small pea-sized amount divided between both eyes. Applying more will not produce faster results and may cause pilling, makeup interference or migration toward the eyes.
Where should eye cream be applied?
Apply it along the orbital bone beneath the eyes, keeping a comfortable distance from the lash line. The product will naturally distribute slightly as it warms against the skin.
Can it be used under concealer?
Yes. Its lightweight, fast-absorbing texture is designed to layer well beneath makeup. Allow the cream to absorb before applying sunscreen or concealer.
Can I use it with Brighter Days™ Eye Masks?
Yes. Apply Brighter Days™ immediately after cleansing. Remove the masks, gently press in the remaining serum and follow with a thin layer of First Light®.
Can I use it with EyeHero™ Bio-Retinol Eye Cream?
Yes, although using both at the same time may feel unnecessary. We recommend First Light® in the morning and EyeHero™ in the evening.
Should I store it in the refrigerator?
Refrigeration is optional but enhances the cooling sensation of the ceramic applicator. Do not freeze the product.
Is First Light® fragrance-free?
The formula contains no added fragrance or essential oils, making it a thoughtful option for fragrance-sensitive clients.
What results did participants report?
