How It Works
The collagen sheet forms a close-fitting veil over the complexion, creating an intensely hydrating and smoothing environment. Natural collagen visibly plumps and firms the skin while soothing it.
The Collagen Post Treatment, made with collagen amino acids, completes the ritual and helps seal in the mask’s effects, leaving the skin feeling conditioned, supple and refreshed.
Current Formula vs. Previous Formula
We currently offer this treatment in two formats. Please check which one you have before use.
Current Formula (two steps): each treatment contains one collagen sheet and one vial of Collagen Post Treatment.
Previous Formula (three steps): each treatment also includes a vial of Precursor Complex, an activating solution with horsetail, mallow, glycosaminoglycans and panthenol. Follow the step-by-step instructions inside the box to apply it before the collagen sheet.
How to Use
- Begin with thoroughly cleansed, dry skin. For the Previous Formula, first apply the Precursor Complex as directed inside the box.
- Carefully remove the collagen mask from its protective backing. Hold it at eye level, fit it around the eye area first, then gently stretch it to cover the sides of the face.
- Press out any air bubbles to ensure close contact with the skin.
- Leave on for 30 minutes, then remove. Apply the Collagen Post Treatment using gentle pressing motions. Do not rinse.
- Follow with your preferred Valmont serum and moisturizer.
- Use as an occasional complexion boost or apply one mask weekly for five consecutive weeks as an intensive treatment.
Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
This is one of the closest ways to recreate the feeling of a professional Valmont collagen treatment at home.
We recommend using Regenerating Mask Treatment when the complexion feels depleted, visibly stressed or in need of immediate comfort. It is especially beautiful before an important event, after travelling or during Alberta’s dry winter months.
For the best experience, lie back for the full 30 minutes and ensure the collagen sheet remains in close contact with the skin. Do not walk around folding laundry—this is your official permission to do absolutely nothing.
For a more intensive ritual, use one treatment weekly for five weeks. For the eye area, pair it with the Eye Regenerating Mask.
