There is a particular finish Biomagic gives the skin that is difficult to describe until you see it. Biologique Recherche Biomagic Mask is a mineral-rich mattifying mask created for dull-looking Skin Instants with visible pores and excess sebum.

A combination of Kaolin and Bentonite helps absorb excess surface oil and purify the complexion, while Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Allantoin, Wheat Germ Oil, Corn Oil and Vitamin E help maintain softness and comfort. That balance avoids the aggressively stripped feeling associated with some traditional clay masks.

When excess sebum sits on the surface of the skin, pores can appear more prominent and the complexion loses some of its clarity. By absorbing that excess and refining uneven-looking texture, Biomagic helps pores appear less noticeable, without promising to permanently shrink them.

After 15 minutes, shine appears reduced, pores look more refined and the complexion has a cleaner, brighter and more balanced appearance.

Best for

On combination skin, apply Biomagic only through the T-zone and wherever pores look more visible, with a hydrating mask such as Visolastine+ on drier areas.

How to use

1. Cleanse thoroughly and apply the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant.
2. Apply a thin, even layer of Biomagic Mask over the face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye contour area.
3. Leave on for 15 minutes. If you enjoy it, lightly mist L'Eauxygénante over the mask during this time; this step is optional.
4. Emulsify the mask with cold water, then rinse thoroughly using moistened non-woven gauze or soft cotton.
5. Follow with the Biologique Recherche serums and cream appropriate for your Skin Instant.
6. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. For external use only.

Does Biomagic shrink pores?

Pores cannot permanently shrink or close. Biomagic helps absorb excess surface sebum and refine the appearance of skin texture, which can make pores appear less noticeable.

Is Biomagic good for oily skin?

Yes. Biologique Recherche specifically recommends it for Skin Instants with excess sebum, visible pores and dullness.

Will Biomagic dry out my skin?

It is an absorbent clay-based mask, so its primary purpose is not hydration. However, it also contains conditioning ingredients such as Sodium PCA, Panthenol, Allantoin and botanical oils. If your skin is significantly dry or dehydrated, use it selectively rather than over the entire face.

Can I use L'Eauxygénante with Biomagic?

Yes, if you enjoy lightly misting the mask during application, but this is not required in the current official protocol.

What is the difference between Biomagic and Masque Vivant?

Masque Vivant focuses more specifically on purifying and rebalancing the look of skin prone to excess oil and blemishes. Biomagic focuses more on mattifying, pore refinement, purification and a clearer-looking finish.

Can I use Biomagic and Masque Vivant together?

Depending on your Skin Instant, yes. They may be used on different facial zones or alternated within a routine.
