Advanced TFC8®
A blend of amino acids, vitamins and skin-identical molecules at the heart of every Augustinus Bader formula, designed to support the look of renewed, healthy skin. In its advanced form, it also helps deliver the formula’s key ingredients.
Vitamin C and ergothioneine
Ascorbyl glucoside, a stable form of vitamin C, helps brighten the complexion and the look of dark spots; ergothioneine, a mushroom-derived antioxidant, complements it against oxidative stress.
Niacinamide and Ceramide NP
Niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3, helps the look of tone, pores and texture; Ceramide NP, a skin-identical lipid, helps reinforce the moisture barrier and reduce water loss.

Augustinus Bader’s stable vitamin C serum with Advanced TFC8®, for dullness, dark spots and uneven tone. Lightweight, fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. Morning and evening.
The one we suggest when clients want the brightening benefits of vitamin C without the sting or stickiness of some formulas: a cushiony, water-light serum with ascorbyl glucoside, ergothioneine and niacinamide. Skin looks brighter, more even and more luminous, and it layers easily under moisturizer, sunscreen and makeup.

- Start with clean skin: Cleanse, apply your essence if you use one, and make sure skin is dry.
- Smooth on The Vitamin C Serum: Two pumps over the face, neck and décolleté with upward, sweeping motions. Let it absorb fully.
- Follow with eye cream and moisturizer: Seal it in with your Augustinus Bader eye cream and moisturizer.
- Finish with SPF: In the morning, broad-spectrum sunscreen is always the last step.

How to use
- Cleanse, apply your essence if you use one, and pat skin dry.
- Smooth two pumps over the face, neck and décolleté, sweeping upward, and let it absorb.
- Follow with your eye cream and moisturizer.
- In the morning, finish with broad-spectrum sunscreen.
This serum does not replace sunscreen. If your skin is highly reactive, patch test before regular use. Augustinus Bader identifies it as suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding; check with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.
