Meltdown Daily Balancing Gel Cleanser is a soft blue gel that lightly lathers to lift away excess oil, sunscreen, light makeup and daily buildup. It is made for blemish-prone, combination and oily skin that needs a thorough cleanse without the squeaky, stripped feeling. Salicylic acid gently exfoliates to help keep pores looking clear, while three ceramides, cholesterol, glycerin and sodium hyaluronate help maintain hydration. Green tea, licorice root, rice extract and black cumin seed oil help visibly calm redness. Its natural scent comes from botanical oils such as lemon peel, fennel, frankincense and blue tansy, so it is not fragrance-free. Use it morning and evening, or as the second step of a double cleanse.

Dispense a generous amount into clean, damp hands.

Massage over damp face and neck with gentle circular motions.

Add warm water and keep massaging until it lightly lathers.

Avoid contact with eyes.
Give it a full minute along the nose, chin and hairline, where sunscreen and oil collect. Your fingertips are enough, no scrubbing needed.

Is it suitable for blemish-prone skin?
Yes. It is made for blemish-prone and sensitive skin, with salicylic acid to cleanse pores and ceramides to keep skin comfortable.
Is it fragrance-free?
No fragrance is added, but botanical oils such as lemon peel, fennel, frankincense and blue tansy give it a natural scent. Patch test if your skin is reactive.
Can I use it every day?
Yes, morning and evening. Dry or very sensitive skin may prefer once a day, or alternating with a non-exfoliating cleanser.
Does it remove makeup?
It removes light makeup and sunscreen. For heavier or waterproof makeup, use it as the second step of a double cleanse.
Can I use it with retinol?
Yes, but both can be drying. On retinol evenings, sensitive skin may do better with a gentler cleanser such as Daydreamer.
Why is it blue?
The colour comes from blue tansy oil, spirulina, chlorophyllin-copper complex and Blue 1.
