Biologique Recherche Sérum Élastine is a targeted wrinkle-correcting and smoothing serum designed to improve skin elasticity while visibly smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. Elastin helps skin stretch, move and return to its original shape; as the skin changes over time, expression lines can remain more visible even when the face is at rest. Élastine is formulated to support this function, helping the skin appear smoother, more supple and more resilient. Biologique Recherche describes its key elastin segment as a hexapeptide derived from the elastin sequence, sometimes called a "spring fragment". It is particularly interesting when movement-related lines are beginning to remain visible rather than disappearing when the expression relaxes, such as forehead lines. Its focus is elasticity plus wrinkle smoothing, which sets it apart from Collagène Originel (density, structure and plumpness) and VG Tensil (firmness, tone and facial contour).

How to use

Apply after cleansing and the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant.

If using several serums, apply your lighter and more fluid serums first.

Apply approximately 1 ml of Élastine morning and/or evening over the face, neck and décolleté.

Massage gently using light upward movements until completely absorbed.

Follow with your moisturizer.

Avoid contact with the eyes and avoid direct application onto the lips. For external use only.
Massage it in with light upward movements and take your time: it should be completely absorbed before your moisturizer.

Cleanse with the milk selected for your Skin Instant and apply the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant. Layer lighter, more fluid serums first, then Élastine, then your moisturizer. Depending on your Skin Instant, Crème Biofixine can provide the moisturizing step, and Collagène Originel can complement Élastine when both elasticity and density are concerns. Finish with sunscreen in the morning.

What is the "spring fragment"?
Biologique Recherche describes the elastin segment in the serum as a hexapeptide derived from elastin. Because elastin helps skin stretch and return to its original shape, BR refers to it as a type of "spring fragment".
Is Élastine only for the first signs of aging?
No. Biologique Recherche currently recommends it for Skin Instants showing visible signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles.
What is the difference between Élastine, Collagène Originel and VG Tensil?
Élastine focuses on wrinkles and elasticity. Collagène Originel focuses on wrinkles alongside loss of density and plumpness. VG Tensil is a tautening, toning serum for skin lacking tone and contour definition.
Can I use Élastine around my eyes or lips?
Avoid contact with the eyes and avoid direct application onto the lips. Our estheticians can help you decide whether a dedicated eye product is more appropriate.
Is Élastine a hydrating serum?
It contains hydrating ingredients such as glycerin and forms of sodium hyaluronate, but its focus is smoothing and elasticity. If dehydration is your main concern, a serum such as Amniotique VG may be more appropriate.
