Sara Happ The Lip Elixir® is a lightweight lip treatment oil with a glossy, natural shine. It blends seven botanical oils, including castor, rice bran, jojoba, macadamia, avocado and apricot kernel, with squalane, vitamins C and E, hyaluronic acid and konjac root. It conditions dry lips, leaving them soft, smooth and supple.

Sara Happ The Lip Elixir® is a lightweight lip treatment oil with a glossy, natural shine. It blends seven botanical oils, including castor, rice bran, jojoba, macadamia, avocado and apricot kernel, with squalane, vitamins C and E, hyaluronic acid and konjac root. It conditions dry lips, leaving them soft, smooth and supple.

Most lip products are either balms that sit on the lips or glosses that add shine and little else. The Lip Elixir® is a treatment oil: a lightweight blend of skin-friendly botanical oils and squalane that melts onto the lips and conditions them, with a glossy finish. The rose quartz rollerball stays cool to the touch and makes massaging the oil into the lips a soothing ritual.
It is designed to work as part of a routine: exfoliate with The Lip Scrub, condition with The Lip Elixir®, then seal in comfort with The Lip Slip®.
Think of The Lip Elixir® as the serum step of your lip routine. On its own, it gives a light, glossy shine and conditions the lips. For dry lips, and especially during Edmonton winters, always follow with The Lip Slip® Balm or Gloss to seal in comfort.
Take a few extra seconds to massage. Roll gently from the centre of the lips outward, then lightly around the lip contour. The cool rose quartz feels soothing, and the gentle massage helps the oil spread evenly.
Before lipstick, apply a thin layer, let it settle for a minute, then blot lightly so your colour doesn't slide.
Wipe the rollerball with a clean tissue after each use and always replace the cap to keep it clean and prevent leaks.

What is Sara Happ The Lip Elixir®?
It is a lightweight lip treatment oil with seven botanical oils, squalane and vitamins C and E, applied with a cooling rose quartz rollerball. It conditions lips and leaves a glossy, natural shine.
Is The Lip Elixir® enough on its own for very dry lips?
It is lightweight and conditioning, but for very dry or chapped lips we recommend following it with The Lip Slip® Balm to seal in moisture, and using The Dream Slip® at night.
How is The Lip Elixir® different from The Lip Slip® Balm?
The Lip Elixir® is a light treatment oil that conditions the lips, like a serum step. The Lip Slip® Balm is a richer, cushiony balm that helps seal in moisture. They work beautifully together, with the Elixir first and the Lip Slip® on top.
What does the rose quartz rollerball do?
It stays cool to the touch and makes applying the oil a soothing massage, while spreading the oil evenly over the lips.
Can I wear it under lipstick?
Yes. Apply a thin layer, let it settle, then blot lightly before applying colour.
Does it contain hyaluronic acid?
Yes, in a small amount alongside konjac root. The formula's conditioning results come mainly from its botanical oils and squalane.
Is it vegan?
It does not contain beeswax, but Sara Happ does not clearly label The Lip Elixir® as vegan on its own site. If this is important to you, contact our team and we will confirm with the brand.
Is it cruelty-free?
Sara Happ states that its products are not tested on animals.
Is it suitable for someone with a nut allergy?
It contains macadamia oil, as well as apricot kernel and avocado oils. Anyone with a tree nut or food allergy should review the full ingredient list and consult a healthcare professional before use.
