A refreshing foaming cleanse for clearer, smoother and more balanced-looking skin
A sulfate-free foaming cleanser that lifts away makeup, excess oil and daily buildup while helping refine the appearance of congested pores. Refresh combines aspen bark extract, papaya extract and soothing aloe vera to clarify the complexion without intentionally stripping its essential moisture.
Its fresh, lightweight lather leaves oily, combination and blemish-prone skin feeling clean, smooth and comfortably balanced.

How to use
- Use morning and/or evening.
- Apply one to two pumps to a damp face. Gently massage over the skin using circular motions, concentrating on areas experiencing excess oil or buildup. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
- Begin once daily and increase to twice daily if your skin remains comfortable. Patch test before first use and store away from direct sunlight.

Why It Is Different
Clarifying cleansers can easily become too aggressive, particularly when they rely on strong detergents or multiple exfoliating ingredients. Refresh combines a gentle amino-acid-derived cleansing agent with plant extracts, humectants and aloe vera to remove oil and buildup while supporting skin comfort.
The formula offers light, rinse-off exfoliating support rather than behaving like a high-strength leave-on acid treatment.

For full-coverage or water-resistant makeup, begin with an oil or balm cleanser and use Refresh as your second cleanse. If your routine already contains several exfoliating acids or retinoids, begin with Refresh once daily or on alternating days to avoid over-cleansing.
If your skin is highly reactive, barrier-compromised or sensitive to citrus oils, choose the fragrance-free Harmony cleanser instead. For a gentle gel cleanser without the same clarifying focus, consider Purify.

Aspen Bark, Salicylates and Salicylic Acid
Aspen bark naturally contains salicylates—plant compounds related to salicylic acid. These compounds can provide gentle clarifying and exfoliating support within a rinse-off cleanser.
However, aspen bark extract is not the same as a leave-on product formulated with a disclosed percentage of pure salicylic acid. Refresh is best understood as a gently clarifying daily cleanser rather than a concentrated acne treatment or traditional 2% BHA exfoliant.
Papaya extract complements this action by providing enzymatic support for smoother-looking skin without using physical exfoliating beads.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Refresh be used every day?
Yes. Begin once daily and increase to morning and evening use if your skin remains comfortable. Reduce the frequency if you experience dryness, tightness or irritation.
Can it help with breakouts and clogged pores?
Refresh helps remove excess oil and buildup that can contribute to congested-looking pores and breakouts. It is a cosmetic cleanser, however, and should not be presented as a treatment for acne.
Is aspen bark the same as a 2% salicylic acid treatment?
No. Aspen bark naturally contains salicylates, but the formula does not disclose a standardized 2% concentration of pure salicylic acid. Refresh provides gentler, rinse-off clarifying support.
Will Refresh remove makeup?
Yes. It can remove light makeup, sunscreen, oil and daily impurities. Use an oil or balm cleanser first when removing full-coverage or water-resistant makeup.
Is Refresh suitable for sensitive skin?
Some sensitive skin types may tolerate it, but the formula contains grapefruit peel oil and limonene. Patch testing is recommended. Highly reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin may be better suited to Harmony.
