- Spray directly onto clean, dry skin across the face or body. Allow the mist to dry completely before applying serum, moisturizer, sunscreen or makeup.
- Use after workouts, during travel, in hot or humid conditions or whenever the skin needs a refresh.
- For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Patch test before first use and discontinue use if irritation occurs.
- Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly sealed and use within six months of opening for optimal performance. Do not transfer the formula into another container.

Take Five™ is one of those wonderfully practical products that earns its place in a gym bag, travel case or bathroom cabinet. We particularly recommend it for clients who experience facial redness after exercise or blemishes where sweat and clothing create friction across the chest, shoulders and back.
Spray it onto the skin as soon as possible after a workout and allow it to dry without rubbing. It is an excellent temporary refresh when immediate cleansing is not possible, but it does not remove sweat, oil, sunscreen or makeup. Cleanse properly when you are able.

What Hypochlorous Acid Does—and Does Not Do
Hypochlorous acid is a compound naturally produced by the body’s immune system as part of its protective response. In a properly formulated skincare mist, it can help calm visible redness, comfort reactive skin and support a more balanced-looking complexion.
Despite its name, hypochlorous acid is not an exfoliating acid like glycolic or salicylic acid. It does not remove dead skin cells or increase sensitivity to sunlight in the same way exfoliating acids can.
Take Five™ is also not a facial cleanser, hand sanitizer or medical acne treatment. It will not remove makeup, sunscreen, excess oil or accumulated sweat. Instead, it works as a supportive step for refreshing blemish-prone or temporarily uncomfortable skin.
Hypochlorous acid is sensitive to light, heat and air. Always keep the formula in its original bottle, close it securely and use it within six months of opening.

What is hypochlorous acid?
Hypochlorous acid is a skin-compatible compound naturally produced by the body’s immune system. In skincare, it is used to help soothe visible redness, comfort reactive skin and support a balanced-looking complexion.
Is hypochlorous acid an exfoliating acid?
No. It does not exfoliate the skin like glycolic, lactic or salicylic acid. It can be incorporated into a routine without adding another exfoliating step.
Can Take Five™ help with blemishes?
It can help support blemish-prone skin and reduce the appearance of active breakouts. It is not an acne medication and does not unclog pores or exfoliate, so persistent or more advanced acne may require additional treatment.
Does it replace cleansing after a workout?
No. Take Five™ refreshes the skin but does not remove sweat, oil, sunscreen or makeup. It is helpful when immediate cleansing is not possible, but the skin should still be properly cleansed when convenient.
Can I use it on both my face and body?
Yes. Spray it across the face, chest, shoulders, back or décolleté—particularly where sweat, heat or clothing friction can contribute to congestion.

Can it be sprayed over makeup?
Yes, although repeatedly misting the face may affect the finish of some makeup. Spray lightly, avoid rubbing and allow it to air-dry.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The minimalist formula is fragrance-free and alcohol-free, making it suitable for many sensitive or reactive skin types. Patch testing is still recommended when introducing any new product.
Why does it have a faint post-swim scent?
