Radford BUFF is a multi-action facial exfoliant designed to lift away dead surface cells, refine uneven texture and refresh congested-looking skin. The creamy formula combines papaya and pineapple enzymes, lactic acid and soft cellulose beads to deliver enzymatic, chemical and gentle physical exfoliation in one step.
Glycerin, aloe vera and radish root ferment help maintain comfort as BUFF resurfaces the complexion, leaving the skin feeling softer, smoother and better prepared for the serums and moisturizers that follow.

BUFF uses three complementary methods of exfoliation to refine the skin.
Papaya extract and bromelain, an enzyme derived from pineapple, help loosen dead surface cells. Lactic acid provides alpha hydroxy acid exfoliation to improve the appearance of dullness and uneven texture, while soft cellulose beads gently polish the skin as the formula is massaged.
Glycerin, aloe vera and radish root ferment provide hydrating and conditioning support, helping the skin feel refreshed rather than excessively stripped after rinsing.
Apply BUFF to clean, damp skin. Twist the applicator and gently squeeze to release the formula. Massage over the face using light circular movements, avoiding the immediate eye area, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Although Radford describes BUFF as gentle enough for frequent use, exfoliation needs vary. Begin one to three times per week and increase only when your skin remains comfortable.
Apply an even layer to clean skin and leave it on for up to 15 minutes before rinsing. Reduce the treatment time when introducing the formula or when your skin is sensitive.
Use BUFF in the shower after the skin has been exposed to a little warmth and steam. Massage gently and rinse before leaving the shower.
BUFF is ideal for clients who love the immediate smoothness of a facial polish but also want the benefits of fruit enzymes and an alpha hydroxy acid.
Because it provides three forms of exfoliation, more pressure does not create better results. Allow the formula to do the work and use very light movements, especially when applying it with the silicone applicator.
We recommend beginning once or twice weekly if your routine also includes retinoids, exfoliating toners, acne treatments or professional resurfacing services. Avoid using BUFF on irritated, sunburned or visibly compromised skin, and always wear sunscreen during the day.
The formula contains bergamot and orange peel oils. Very sensitive or fragrance-reactive skin should patch test before use.

BUFF contains soft exfoliating beads, but it is designed to feel more like a creamy cleanser with gentle polishing particles than a coarse facial scrub.
Radford states that BUFF is gentle enough for everyday use. At Loshen & Crem, we recommend beginning one to three times weekly and adjusting according to your skin, particularly when using other exfoliating or resurfacing products.
