A lightweight gel cleanser that removes makeup, excess oil and daily impurities without leaving skin feeling tight or stripped. Purify combines a sulfate-free cleansing system with 20% organic aloe vera juice, natural amino acids and moisture-supporting humectants to cleanse while respecting the skin’s natural barrier.
Its refreshing gel texture rinses away easily, leaving the complexion feeling clean, supple and soothed—never squeaky or depleted.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
Purify is ideal when you enjoy the freshness of a gel cleanser but dislike the tight or depleted feeling many foaming formulas can leave behind.
It can remove light makeup, sunscreen and daily buildup on its own. For full-coverage or water-resistant makeup, begin with a dedicated oil or balm cleanser and use Purify as your second cleanse.
Although the formula contains no artificial fragrance, it does contain bergamot peel oil. If your skin is highly reactive to essential oils or fragrance components, Harmony Cucumber + Kombucha Microbiome Milky Cleanser may be the more appropriate Three Ships option.

Purify combines an amino-acid-derived cleansing agent with a blend of amino acids, sodium PCA and sodium lactate. Together, these ingredients help create a gentler cleansing environment and support skin comfort.
Because a cleanser is rinsed away, its greatest value comes from what it removes without unnecessarily disrupting—not from claiming to transform the skin in a single step.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Purify suitable for sensitive skin?
Purify uses a gentle, sulfate-free cleansing system and contains soothing aloe vera. However, it also contains bergamot peel oil, linalool and limonene. Sensitive skin should patch test first, while highly fragrance-reactive skin may prefer the fragrance-free Harmony cleanser.
What is the difference between Purify and Harmony?
Purify has a refreshing gel texture and is particularly suited to combination skin, makeup wearers and those wanting a more traditional fresh cleanse. Harmony has a creamy, low-lather texture and is better suited to very dry, sensitized or fragrance-reactive skin.
Can Purify remove makeup?
Yes. Purify can remove light makeup, sunscreen, excess oil and daily buildup. In a Three Ships consumer panel, 100% of participants said it effectively removed makeup. Use a separate first cleanse for full-coverage or water-resistant makeup.
Can I use it every day?
Yes. Purify is designed for daily use in both morning and evening routines.
Does Purify foam?
Purify produces a light cleansing action rather than a dense, detergent-like foam. It rinses clean while helping the skin retain comfort and moisture.
Is it suitable for combination or oily skin?
Yes. Its gel texture effectively removes excess oil and buildup without intentionally stripping the skin. However, it is not an exfoliating or acne-treatment cleanser.
Is Purify fragrance-free?
No. It contains no artificial fragrance, but the formula includes bergamot peel oil and the naturally occurring fragrance components linalool and limonene.
What do amino acids do in a cleanser?
