Aquafolia Enzymatic Exfoliant Step 1
Aquafolia Enzymatic Exfoliant Step 1 is the first phase of a two-step enzymatic exfoliation, designed for skin that does not tolerate scrubs or acids well.
Papain from papaya and bromelain from pineapple loosen dull surface cells and refine texture without grains or friction, while caper extract helps keep skin calm and vitamin E brings antioxidant support.
Activated by Enzymatic Exfoliant Step 2, it leaves skin soft, clear-looking and ready to receive the serums and creams that follow. It must always be used with Step 2.

- Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Emulsify with wet fingertips, then rinse thoroughly.

No. Step 1 must always be followed by Enzymatic Exfoliant Step 2, which activates the exfoliation.
How often should I use it?
Once or twice a week, after cleansing.
Does it contain scrubbing grains or acids?
No. It exfoliates with papaya and pineapple enzymes, with no grains and no friction.
How long do I leave it on?
Leave Step 1 and Step 2 on together for 3 to 5 minutes, then emulsify with wet fingertips and rinse.
What should I apply afterward?
Skin is especially receptive after exfoliating. Follow with a hydrating mist such as Aqua Rescue Concentrate and a comforting cream.
