A growth-factor peptide and multi-form hyaluronic serum for smoother, more resilient-looking skin
Le Mieux EGF-DNA Serum is a lightweight, intensive facial serum formulated to address dehydration, dry or flaky texture, visible skin stress and early-to-advanced signs of aging. Its fermentation-based formula combines Galactomyces ferment filtrate with multiple forms of hyaluronic acid and a sophisticated blend of recombinant oligopeptides and polypeptides.
Ten listed forms and derivatives of hyaluronic acid help attract and retain moisture at the skin’s surface, creating a smoother, plumper-looking complexion. Ferments, phospholipids, lecithin and conditioning amino-acid derivatives complement the formula by supporting softness and visible resilience.
Despite its name, EGF-DNA Serum should not be presented as repairing human DNA or medically healing damaged skin. Its benefits are cosmetic: supporting hydration, improving the appearance of rough texture and helping visibly stressed skin look smoother, brighter and more refreshed.
Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Water, Hyaluronic Acid, Zinc Hydrolyzed Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Dimethylsilanol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, C12-13 Alkyl Glyceryl Hydrolyzed Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Ascorbyl Propyl Hyaluronate, Oligopeptide-223, Oligopeptide-225, rh-Oligopeptide-1, sh-Oligopeptide-2, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Phospholipids, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Lecithin, Acetyl Glutamine, Propanediol, Bacillus/Folic Acid Ferment Filtrate Extract, sh-Polypeptide-1, sh-Polypeptide-9, sh-Polypeptide-11, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Pentylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

EGF-DNA Serum is particularly well suited to:
The “over 30” positioning is a marketing guideline, not a biological rule. Product selection should be based on skin concerns rather than age alone.
EGF-DNA Serum uses Galactomyces ferment filtrate as its first listed ingredient rather than relying on a conventional water base. It combines this ferment with rice bran water, ten forms or derivatives of hyaluronic acid and a complex group of recombinant oligopeptides and polypeptides.
The published ingredient list does not disclose the concentration of the individual peptides or provide complete manufacturing details for the proprietary complex. For that reason, the formula should be evaluated according to its finished-product results rather than assuming that every peptide performs identically to a naturally occurring human growth factor.
Use in the morning and evening.
After cleansing and toning, apply three to five drops to the face and neck. Gently press the serum into the skin until absorbed rather than aggressively rubbing.
Follow with moisturizer. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning.
When layering multiple products, use EGF-DNA Serum after watery toners or mists and before creams, facial oils and sunscreen.
For post-procedure use, follow the instructions of the professional who performed the treatment. Do not apply the serum to broken, weeping or medically compromised skin.
EGF-DNA Serum is a beautiful choice when skin looks tired, feels dehydrated and has begun showing roughness or fine lines, but you do not want the weight of a rich cream serum.
Begin with three drops. The formula spreads easily, and using more will not necessarily accelerate results. Follow with Essence Moisturizer for lightweight hydration or 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream when the skin needs greater richness and barrier support.
For dry and dehydrated skin, finish with one or two drops of Derma Relief Serum to help reduce moisture loss. EGF-DNA supplies water-based hydration, while Derma Relief supplies replenishing oils and lipids.
We would not automatically apply this serum immediately after every peel, laser or resurfacing treatment simply because it is described as post-procedure appropriate. Treatment depth, barrier condition and professional protocols vary considerably. Obtain clearance from the provider who performed the procedure and wait until the skin is ready for non-sterile cosmetic products.
Growth-factor terminology may sound impressively futuristic—and it is an interesting area of skincare—but it does not replace sunscreen, retinoids, antioxidants or a well-supported moisture barrier. The strongest routine is still the one built on excellent fundamentals.
When skin is visibly stressed, keep the surrounding routine simple. Avoid adding unnecessary exfoliating acids, scrubs and retinoids until the skin feels comfortable again.
Each serum has a different primary role.
EGF-DNA Serum and Hyaluronic Serum do not usually need to be layered together. Both provide extensive hyaluronic-acid-based hydration, so most clients can select one and follow it with an appropriate moisturizer.
Growth factors are signaling proteins naturally involved in communication between cells. In cosmetic skincare, the term usually refers to laboratory-produced peptides or proteins designed to support the appearance of smoother, firmer or more resilient-looking skin.
The skin’s outer barrier limits the penetration of large molecules, and the stability, concentration and delivery system of a finished formula can influence how it performs. The presence of a growth-factor-related ingredient does not, by itself, prove that a serum will produce new collagen, heal wounds or reverse biological aging.
EGF-DNA Serum contains several ingredients identified through INCI nomenclature as recombinant oligopeptides and polypeptides. Their inclusion makes this a more sophisticated formula than a basic hydrating serum, but results should still be described through visible cosmetic improvements such as hydration, softness, texture and radiance.
No cosmetic serum should be presented as repairing or altering a person’s genetic material.
The current published ingredient list does not include an ingredient explicitly named DNA or sodium DNA. “EGF-DNA” is the product name and should not be interpreted as proof that the formula repairs DNA damage.
The serum is better understood as a hydrating peptide treatment designed to improve the appearance of dry texture, fine lines and visible skin stress.
Le Mieux currently reports results from a consumer study involving 31 participants:
The current product page does not provide the study duration, control group, evaluation method or complete protocol. These figures should therefore be understood as consumer-perception results rather than independent clinical proof that the serum treats inflammation or medically repairs damaged skin. Individual results will vary.

No. Thirty is not a biological cutoff for growth-factor or peptide skincare. The serum should be selected according to concerns such as dehydration, rough texture, dullness and visible signs of aging rather than age alone.
Le Mieux presents the serum as an epidermal-growth-factor complex. The published INCI lists several recombinant oligopeptides and polypeptides, including rh-Oligopeptide-1, but does not disclose the concentration or complete manufacturing details of the proprietary complex.
The INCI uses recombinant peptide nomenclature, but the public product page does not provide enough sourcing or manufacturing information to confirm the origin of every peptide. Clients with ethical, religious or medical concerns should request written clarification from Le Mieux before purchasing.
No. The product should not be represented as altering or repairing genetic material. The current ingredient list does not include an ingredient explicitly named DNA.
Growth-factor peptides are used in cosmetics to support a smoother and firmer-looking complexion, but the presence of these ingredients alone does not prove that the finished product creates new collagen. Le Mieux’s published consumer study reports perceived texture improvement, not direct measurements of collagen production.
Le Mieux describes the serum as suitable for sensitive skin, and the current ingredient list contains no added fragrance or essential oils. Individual reactions remain possible, particularly with complex fermented formulas. Patch test before full application.
No fragrance, parfum or essential oil is listed in the current published ingredient list. Raw materials and ferments may still have a natural scent.
Only after the professional who performed the procedure confirms that cosmetic skincare can be resumed. The serum is not sterile and should not be applied to broken, weeping or incompletely healed skin.
It may provide hydration and conditioning for mildly stressed or dry skin, but it is not a treatment for inflammation, dermatitis or an allergic reaction. Discontinue active products and seek professional guidance if the skin is burning, swollen, persistently red or painful.
For many clients, yes. EGF-DNA Serum already contains ten listed forms and derivatives of hyaluronic acid. Choose Hyaluronic Serum for more straightforward hydration or EGF-DNA for hydration combined with a more complex peptide and ferment system.
Yes, provided the skin tolerates the combination. Apply EGF-DNA Serum before moisturizer. If retinol is causing persistent peeling, burning or redness, reduce the retinol frequency rather than expecting the serum to compensate for irritation.
Yes. Apply products from thinnest to thickest. If your vitamin C formula is highly acidic and your skin is sensitive, consider using vitamin C in the morning and EGF-DNA Serum in the evening.
It can be used on evenings when acids are applied if the skin is already accustomed to them. Sensitive or barrier-impaired skin may do better alternating the products. Do not use the serum to push through excessive exfoliation.
Its lightweight texture may suit some combination or blemish-prone complexions, but it is not an acne treatment. Patch test if you are highly reactive to fermented ingredients.
Not for most skin types. The serum provides water-based hydration but does not supply the same emollient or barrier-sealing benefits as a moisturizer. Follow with a cream suited to your skin.
Yes. Le Mieux recommends three to five drops in the morning and evening. Begin once daily if your skin is highly sensitive or if you are introducing several new products.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Use a dedicated eye treatment if you need targeted support for puffiness, dark circles or eye-area lines.
The formula does not list retinol or exfoliating acids, but pregnancy-specific safety information for the complete growth-factor and recombinant-peptide complex is not provided. Consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before use.
There is no basis for stating that this cosmetic serum causes cancer. However, clients with active skin cancer, suspicious lesions or a personal history requiring ongoing dermatological care should ask their dermatologist before using a growth-factor product. Never apply it over an unidentified or changing lesion.
