EltaMD UV Sport Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen is specially formulated for active lifestyles. This water-resistant (80 minutes) sunscreen that will not rinse off in water or drip into the eyes and sting.

Recommended for :

  • Combination skin
  • Dry Skin
  • Oily Skin
  • Mature Skin
Benefits:
  • Quick absorption that goes on smoothly with a transparent Zinc Oxide finish
  • Water-resistant up to 80 minutes and will not rinse off in water, drip or sting eyes
  • For outdoor activities like swimmers, skiers, runners, golfers, etc
How to Use
  • Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure
     
  • Reapply:
    • after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating
    • immediately after towel drying
    • at least every 2 hours
       
  • Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
    • limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    • wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: 9.0% Zinc oxide, 7.50% Octinoxate, 5.0% Octisalate

Ingredient Insights:

  • Zinc Oxide: Natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays
  • Octinoxate: Organic compound that helps increase UV protection
  • Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E): Antioxidant that reduces free radicals to help diminish the visible signs of aging
Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Hexyl Laurate, Cetyl Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Bees Wax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Chloride, Disodium EDTA, Butylene Glycol, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane.

Solid body sunscreen

I really like this sunscreen. I prefer to use mineral formulations and this is one of the best I’ve found for the body. It spreads and absorbs easily and doesn’t leave much of a white cast.

Best sunscreen for sports

This is the best sunscreen for sports, hands down. I am so glad LōSHEN is carrying this line. It gets incredibly hot and humid in southern Ontario and this is the only sunscreen that won't drip into my eyes while playing tennis or golfing. Been using this for over 2 years and have never gotten a burn with it. I also like that it's a mineral based sunscreen as chemical sunscreens (e.g. LRP, Vichy, etc.) make my face sting. It does leave a little bit of a white cast so I use another brand's tinted moisturizer for every day use. But for sport, this is a must-have.
