Biologique Recherche Extraits Tissulaires is a lightweight hydrating and balancing serum designed specifically for dehydrated Skin Instants, particularly when dehydration occurs alongside excess oil. Its water-focused formula helps continuously capture and distribute moisture within the epidermis to restore the skin's hydration balance. At the same time, it helps support the hydrolipidic barrier and limit water loss so the skin can hold on to its hydration more effectively. The result is skin that feels fresher, softer and more comfortable, without the weight of a richer nourishing serum. Oil and water are not the same thing: skin can produce plenty of oil and still lack water, feeling tight after cleansing yet shiny again a few hours later. That is exactly where Extraits Tissulaires comes in.

How to use

Start on clean skin, after cleansing and the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant.

Apply approximately 1 ml to the face, neck and décolleté.

Gently massage using light upward movements until completely absorbed.

If using several serums, apply your more fluid serums first.

Follow with your moisturizer, and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen in the morning.

Avoid contact with the eyes. For external use only.

Cleanse with the milk selected for your Skin Instant, such as Lait S.R. for excess oil and shine, then apply the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant. Apply Extraits Tissulaires; if you layer serums, apply the most fluid first, followed by your targeted serums. Finish with your moisturizer, and sunscreen in the morning. If your skin simply feels thirsty and tight, Amniotique VG may suit you better; if it lacks lipids too, Colostrum VG may be more appropriate.

Can oily skin be dehydrated?
Yes. Oil refers to sebum, while hydration refers to water. Skin can produce excess oil while lacking water, resulting in a complexion that feels tight yet becomes shiny.
Is Extraits Tissulaires good for oily skin?
It can be particularly useful when oily or combination skin is also dehydrated. It provides hydration without the richness of a lipid-replenishing serum.
Is Extraits Tissulaires for sensitive skin?
Biologique Recherche recommends it specifically for dehydrated, oily Skin Instants rather than primarily for sensitivity. If sensitivity is your main concern, another Biologique Recherche serum may be more appropriate.
What is the difference between Extraits Tissulaires and Amniotique VG?
Extraits Tissulaires combines lightweight hydration with a balancing action for dehydrated, oily Skin Instants. Amniotique VG provides more intensive water-focused hydration for dehydrated Skin Instants in general.
What is the difference between Extraits Tissulaires and Colostrum VG?
Extraits Tissulaires primarily addresses dehydration and water balance. Colostrum VG is intended for skin lacking both water and lipids and is considerably more nourishing.
Is Extraits Tissulaires a moisturizer?
No. It is a serum. Apply it before your Biologique Recherche cream or moisturizer.
Does it contain nuts?
Yes. The formula contains ingredients derived from walnut. If you have a nut allergy, please book a consultation with one of our estheticians before purchasing.
