Sheald recovery balm

I find it soothing and hydrating for my dry skin, especially when I've been using retinols. Will be re-ordering!

I live in Canada where winters are harsher and dry out my skin. This balm is perfect to use during this weather. Would highly recommend.

I've used this balm on and off for the past 3-4 winters. It's a thick formula, so I use it sparingly. I have used it on my skin (face) when I've overdone it with retinol in the past, and also just on winter days when it's super cold outside. just a few dabs here and there really helps. Doesn't seem to clog pores or anything like that. A winter must have! Docked 2 points b/c I think it's way overpriced, and there are similar less expensive products on the market.

My husband had a bad reaction to a product that left his skin barrier needing all the help it could get. This was recommended by one of the girls and his face has never looked better!!

Had high hopes but just didn’t work for my skin. I normally use BR products and I have very sensitive/rosacea prone skin and this just made my skin red and angry. Wish it worked better for me.

They left samples and a hand written note for me which was very nice. The balms are magical, very hydrating, definitely great for someone with dry and dehydrated skin. I have been using it for several months, purchased initially from another site but the customer service at Loshen just cannot be beat! The texture is thick and requires time to be soaked in so I tend to apply it in thin layers. It leaves your skin feeling pleasantly hydrated and dewy. I use some kind of retinoid on a nightly basis and this balm is great for keeping my skin moisturized overnight. My only regret is not trying it sooner!

I have been using SHIELD especially on my cheeks lately and it seems to be a great barrier between my skin and the masks I have to wear daily. It is thick and my skin soaks it in. I also put it on my jaw line of where the mask touches.

I really enjoy using this product especially in the winter, I mix a little bit of it in with my moisturizer and apply before SPF. I feel like it helps keep my moisturizer affective and gives me added protection from the cold and the wind.
