How It Works

Prime Regenera II combines Valmont’s Cellular Prime Complex with a replenishing lipid complex that includes ceramides, cholesterol, phytosphingosine and soybean sterols.

These skin-supporting lipids help reinforce the cohesion of the skin’s protective barrier, while beeswax, petrolatum and nourishing emollients form a comforting veil that helps reduce moisture loss.

Valmont’s Triple DNA, RNA Liposome and peptide complex support a smoother, more revitalized appearance, while borage seed oil, glycerin and urea help maintain softness and suppleness.

How to Use

In the evening, warm a small amount between the hands and press over the face and neck after applying serum.

It may also be used in the morning when the skin is experiencing extreme dryness, irritation or redness. Apply a small amount and allow it to settle before sunscreen and makeup.

For an intensive nourishing mask, apply a generous layer and leave on for 20 minutes. Remove any remaining excess with a soft cloth.

After 20 years of working with skin—and many Alberta winters—this is the product I reach for when the complexion no longer needs another light layer of hydration. It needs lipids, protection and comfort.

The texture is unapologetically rich, but that is precisely what makes it so special. A very small amount creates a cocoon over skin that feels tight, depleted or affected by cold weather and indoor heating.

I recommend warming it between your hands and pressing it into the skin rather than rubbing. Use it as your final evening step, especially on the cheeks and other areas that become dry first.

For an intensive winter ritual, apply a generous layer for 20 minutes and remove only what has not absorbed. Your skin will usually tell you exactly how much it needed.
