How It Works

Primary Pomade surrounds the skin with a concentrated blend of plant waxes, oils, butter and biomimetic lipids.

Ceramides, cholesterol and phytosphingosine help replenish components naturally found within the skin barrier, while shea butter, jojoba esters and nourishing botanical oils help soften rough texture and reduce moisture loss.

How to Use

Morning and/or evening, apply after serum.

Warm a small amount between the palms of the hands, then gently press and smooth it over the face and neck using light movements.

Begin with a very small amount and add more only where needed. Primary Pomade may also be applied selectively to dry, flaky or uncomfortable areas.

In the morning, follow with sunscreen.

Warm a small amount thoroughly between your hands before pressing it into the skin. This helps soften the balm and allows a surprisingly fine, elegant application despite its nourishing texture.

During an Edmonton winter, we especially recommend applying it as the final evening step over a hydrating serum. Combination skin can use it only over the cheeks, around the mouth or anywhere dryness appears first.

It is also a beautiful comfort product when an overly active routine has left the skin feeling unsettled. Temporarily simplify the routine, pause strong exfoliants and use Primary Pomade to support softness and barrier comfort.

Important Texture Note

Because Primary Pomade contains a high concentration of vegetable waxes, small crystals may naturally develop in the formula over time.
