Skinbetter Science Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum is an antioxidant serum for morning and evening. It is built on the idea that skin faces free radicals from the environment and from within. Vitamins C and E work with green tea, grape seed, cocoa, turmeric, olive and acai extracts to help defend against environmental stress. Patented Allyl PQQ adds antioxidant care aimed at free radicals generated within the skin. Niacinamide, ceramides and hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate help keep skin comfortable, while licorice, ginger and bisabolol help it look brighter and calmer. Its natural golden colour comes from the antioxidants themselves.

Is it a vitamin C serum?
It contains vitamin C, but as part of a much broader antioxidant formula with vitamin E, Allyl PQQ and botanical extracts.

Does it replace sunscreen?
No. Antioxidants complement sunscreen. Keep wearing a daily sunscreen.
Is the golden colour normal?
Yes. The colour can range from yellow-beige to golden yellow, from its naturally coloured antioxidant ingredients. It contains no dyes.
Do I still need a moisturizer?
It contains moisturizing ingredients, but most skin benefits from a moisturizer on top.
