A multi-acid vitamin C peel-pad treatment for brighter, smoother and more even-looking skin

Le Mieux Vita-C Clear Skin Pad is a triple-action exfoliating treatment designed to refine uneven texture, dullness, visible pores and early signs of aging. A blend of glycolic, lactic, citric and tartaric acids works alongside gluconolactone to remove dead surface cells and reveal a smoother, more luminous-looking complexion.

Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable vitamin C derivative, complements the exfoliating blend with antioxidant and brightening benefits. Green tea, grape, cucumber and ginkgo extracts provide additional antioxidant support, while glycosaminoglycans help maintain hydration and skin comfort.

With consistent use, Vita-C Clear Skin Pad helps the complexion appear clearer, brighter and more refined. Frequency can be adjusted according to skin type and tolerance.

Benefits
  • Exfoliates dead surface cells and visible buildup
  • Refines rough or uneven-looking texture
  • Helps brighten dull, tired-looking skin
  • Improves the appearance of uneven tone and discoloration
  • Softens the look of fine lines and surface irregularities
  • Helps pores appear smoother and less noticeable
  • Provides antioxidant support against environmental stressors
  • Encourages a clearer, more radiant-looking complexion
  • Convenient peel-pad format simplifies evening exfoliation
Best For

Vita-C Clear Skin Pad is particularly well suited to:

  • Dullness and loss of radiance
  • Uneven or rough-looking texture
  • Uneven skin tone and visible discoloration
  • Early visible signs of aging
  • Fine lines and surface irregularities
  • Enlarged-looking pores
  • Normal, combination, oily or mature skin
  • Dry or sensitive skin when used less frequently
  • Clients seeking exfoliating and antioxidant benefits in one step
  • Skin already familiar with alpha hydroxy acids

This product should not be applied to broken, freshly picked, sunburned or significantly barrier-impaired skin.

Why It Is Different

Vita-C Clear Skin Pad combines several alpha hydroxy acids, a polyhydroxy acid and a vitamin C derivative in one leave-on treatment. The formula addresses dullness, texture and uneven tone while supplying antioxidant and skin-conditioning ingredients.

Unlike Skin Clarifying Pad, Vita-C Clear Skin Pad does not contain salicylic acid or denatured alcohol in the published INCI. Its focus is surface renewal, brightness and visible signs of aging rather than persistent oily congestion.

  • Glycolic Acid: Exfoliates dead surface cells to help refine texture, fine lines and discoloration.
  • Lactic Acid: Supports smoother texture and a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
  • Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that provides gradual exfoliating and humectant benefits.
  • Citric and Tartaric Acids: Complement the exfoliating blend and support visible surface renewal.
  • Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: A stable vitamin C derivative that provides antioxidant support and helps brighten uneven-looking skin.
  • Glycosaminoglycans: Help condition the skin and maintain hydration.
  • Green Tea, Grape and Ginkgo Extracts: Provide antioxidant support against environmental stressors.
  • Superoxide Dismutase: An antioxidant enzyme that helps support the skin against oxidative stress.
How to Use

Use in the evening.

Before the first application, pour the solution into the jar of dry pads. Close the jar securely and allow the pads to become evenly saturated.

After cleansing, use one to two saturated pads to make two to three gentle passes over the face and neck, avoiding the eyes, lips and broken skin. Do not scrub and do not rinse.

For dry or sensitive skin, begin once or twice weekly. Normal and combination skin may gradually increase to two or three evenings per week. Le Mieux states that oily skin may use the pads daily, but frequency should only be increased after tolerance has been established.

Allow the solution to absorb before applying a hydrating serum and moisturizer. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning while using this product.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation

Vita-C Clear Skin Pad is best suited to clients whose main concerns are dullness, uneven tone, rough texture and early signs of aging. For persistent blackheads, excess oil or pore congestion, Beta Acid or Skin Clarifying Pad may be a more targeted choice.

Although the formula is presented as a simple vitamin C pad, it contains several exfoliating acids. Begin with one pad and a single pass once or twice weekly. Increase gradually rather than beginning with daily use, even if your skin is oily.

Avoid using Vita-C Clear Skin Pad in the same evening as Perfect Renewal, Skin Clarifying Pad, Beta Acid, 5% Glyco Polymer Solution, retinoids or another exfoliating treatment. If your routine contains a strong L-ascorbic acid serum, use it at a different time of day or on alternate days until tolerance is established.

If the skin begins feeling tight, unusually shiny, persistently red or sensitive to products that normally feel comfortable, pause exfoliation and focus on hydration and barrier support.

Complete the Le Mieux Brightening Renewal Routine
  1. Cleanse: Phyto-Nutrient Cleansing Gel
  2. Exfoliate: Vita-C Clear Skin Pad one to three evenings per week
  3. Hydrate: Hyaluronic Serum after the peel solution has absorbed
  4. Moisturize: Apply a moisturizer suited to your skin type
  5. Protect: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning

On Vita-C Clear Skin Pad evenings, keep the remaining routine simple and hydrating. There is no need to add another acid, scrub or retinoid.

Vita-C Clear Skin Pad, Perfect Renewal or Skin Clarifying Pad?

Although all three products use a pour-to-saturate pad system, they are formulated for different priorities.

  • Choose Vita-C Clear Skin Pad for dullness, uneven tone, rough texture, fine lines and antioxidant support. It combines several surface-renewing acids with magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a vitamin C derivative.
  • Choose Perfect Renewal for post-blemish marks, uneven tone, texture and blemish-prone face or body areas when a 10% mandelic acid treatment is preferred. Perfect Renewal is not recommended for those with nut allergies.
  • Choose Skin Clarifying Pad when excess oil, blackheads, clogged-looking pores and recurring blemishes are the primary concerns. It combines salicylic, lactic and tartaric acids with papaya enzymes.
  • Choose Beta Acid when oily congestion is the main concern and you prefer a liquid salicylic and lactic acid treatment rather than a pad system.
  • Choose 5% Glyco Polymer Solution for a more streamlined glycolic-acid treatment targeting texture, dullness and visible fine lines.

The vitamin C in Vita-C Clear Skin Pad is magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, not pure L-ascorbic acid. It is a stable derivative used for antioxidant and brightening support, but it should not be assumed to perform identically to every vitamin C serum.

Ingredients

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Vita-C Clear Skin Pad suitable for all skin types?

Le Mieux recommends it for all skin types, but frequency should be adjusted according to tolerance. Dry or sensitive skin should begin once weekly, while normal, combination or oily skin may gradually use it more frequently.

Can Vita-C Clear Skin Pad be used every day?

Le Mieux states that oily skin may use the pads daily. Loshen & Crem recommends beginning once or twice weekly and increasing only if the skin remains comfortable. Daily exfoliation is not necessary for most clients.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin may be able to use the product once weekly, but the formula contains several exfoliating acids and bitter orange flower water. Patch testing and gradual introduction are recommended.

Do I rinse the solution off?

No. Vita-C Clear Skin Pad is a leave-on treatment. Allow the solution to absorb before applying serum and moisturizer.

What form of vitamin C does it contain?

The formula contains magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable vitamin C derivative. It is not the same ingredient as pure L-ascorbic acid.

Can it help with dark spots?

The combination of exfoliating acids and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate may improve the appearance of superficial discoloration and uneven tone with consistent use. Daily sunscreen remains essential.

Can Vita-C Clear Skin Pad treat melasma?

It may support a brighter, more even-looking complexion, but it should not be presented as a complete melasma treatment. Melasma usually requires consistent sun and visible-light protection alongside a professionally guided pigment-management routine.

Can it help with fine lines?

Regular surface exfoliation can soften the appearance of fine lines and rough texture. It will not produce the same results as an injectable, prescription retinoid or professional resurfacing treatment.

Does it tighten pores?

Pores do not physically open and close. By removing dead surface cells and refining surrounding texture, Vita-C Clear Skin Pad may help pores appear smoother and less noticeable.

What is the difference between Vita-C Clear Skin Pad and Skin Clarifying Pad?

Vita-C Clear Skin Pad focuses on brightness, texture, fine lines and antioxidant support. Skin Clarifying Pad contains salicylic acid and papaya enzymes, making it more targeted toward excess oil, blackheads and blemish-prone congestion.

What is the difference between Vita-C Clear Skin Pad and Perfect Renewal?

Vita-C uses a blend of glycolic, lactic, citric and tartaric acids with a vitamin C derivative. Perfect Renewal uses 10% mandelic acid with hydrating and pigment-supporting ingredients and may be used on the face or body.

Can I use it with a vitamin C serum?

It may be possible, but using several active products together can increase sensitivity. Begin by using Vita-C Clear Skin Pad in the evening and your vitamin C serum in the morning or on alternate days.

Can I use it with retinol?

Use Vita-C Clear Skin Pad and retinol on separate evenings, particularly when beginning. Applying both in one routine may increase dryness, peeling and irritation.

Can it cause purging?

Exfoliating acids can sometimes bring existing congestion to the surface more quickly. Persistent burning, itching, pronounced redness or breakouts in entirely new areas are more suggestive of irritation.

Is Vita-C Clear Skin Pad fragrance-free?

No parfum or added fragrance is listed in the published INCI. However, bitter orange flower water has a naturally aromatic character, and individual sensitivity to botanical ingredients can vary.

Can Vita-C Clear Skin Pad be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

The formula does not list retinoids or salicylic acid, but pregnancy and breastfeeding recommendations should still be reviewed with a physician or qualified healthcare provider before introducing a multi-acid treatment.

How should I store the pads after adding the solution?

Keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Secure the lid after every use to prevent the pads from drying out.

Is sunscreen necessary?

Yes. Regular broad-spectrum sunscreen is essential when using exfoliating acids, especially when discoloration and visible signs of aging are concerns.
