A targeted tinted treatment for active-looking blemishes, excess oil and post-breakout marks

Le Mieux A&E Corrector is a concentrated spot treatment designed for oily, combination and blemish-prone skin. The shake-to-mix formula combines sulfur, bentonite clay, lactic acid, willow bark extract and resorcinol to help absorb excess surface oil, loosen visible buildup and improve the appearance of individual imperfections.

Titanium dioxide and iron oxides give the treatment its natural tint, helping visually soften the appearance of redness and discoloration while the product is worn. Because this is an intensive leave-on formula, it is best reserved for targeted application rather than used across the entire face.

Benefits
  • Targets the appearance of individual blemishes and congested spots
  • Helps absorb excess surface oil with sulfur and bentonite clay
  • Gently exfoliates visible buildup and roughness
  • Helps refine the appearance of post-blemish discoloration
  • Tinted mineral pigments temporarily soften the look of redness
  • Allows for precise application without treating unaffected areas
  • Suitable for oily and combination skin when used as directed
Best For

A&E Corrector is particularly well suited to:

  • Individual blemishes and localized congestion
  • Oily or combination skin
  • Excess shine around problem areas
  • Visible surface buildup around clogged-looking pores
  • Lingering post-blemish discoloration
  • Clients who prefer a tinted daytime or overnight spot treatment
  • Occasional hormonal or stress-related imperfections

This formula may be too drying for highly sensitive, dehydrated or barrier-impaired skin. It should not be applied to broken, freshly picked or visibly irritated areas.

Why It Is Different

A&E Corrector combines several oil-absorbing, exfoliating and complexion-perfecting ingredients in one targeted formula. Unlike a clear serum applied across the face, it dries down with a visible tint that helps temporarily disguise the appearance of the treated area.

  • Sulfur: Helps absorb excess surface oil and improve the appearance of active blemishes.
  • Bentonite: A mineral-rich clay that draws in oil and helps keep the treated area feeling clean and refined.
  • Lactic Acid: An alpha hydroxy acid that loosens dead surface cells and supports smoother, more even-looking skin.
  • Willow Bark Extract: A botanical extract traditionally used in formulas for oily and congested-looking skin.
  • Resorcinol: An intensive exfoliating ingredient used in targeted formulas to help refine rough or blemished-looking areas.
  • Capryloyl Glycine and Sarcosine: Help support a more balanced, less oily-looking complexion.
  • Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides: Provide the formula’s tint and temporarily soften the appearance of redness and discoloration.
How to Use

Shake thoroughly before every application.

After cleansing, allow the skin to dry completely. Apply a very small amount directly to the affected area, avoiding the eyes, lips and surrounding sensitive skin. Allow the product to dry without rubbing or blending it across the face.

Begin once daily or every other day. If the skin remains comfortable, use as needed. Reduce the frequency or discontinue temporarily if excessive dryness, flaking, burning or persistent irritation occurs.

Do not apply to broken skin or freshly manipulated blemishes. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, especially when using exfoliating acids.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation

A&E Corrector works best as a precise spot treatment—not as an all-over clarifying mask. Shake the bottle well and use only enough product to cover the visible imperfection. Applying a thicker layer will not necessarily improve results and may increase dryness.

For first-time use, apply it in the evening to one or two areas and evaluate the skin the following morning. Avoid combining it on the same spot with retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, strong exfoliating acids or another drying treatment until you understand how your skin responds.

The formula contains SD Alcohol 40, cinnamon bark extract, witch hazel, sulfur and resorcinol. Clients with reactive or sensitized skin should patch test carefully. If blemishes are widespread, painful, cystic or persistent, consult a dermatologist rather than relying exclusively on a cosmetic spot treatment.

Complete the Le Mieux Clarifying Routine
  1. Cleanse: Phyto-Nutrient Cleansing Gel
  2. Hydrate: Iso-Cell Recovery Solution
  3. Soothe: O² Calming Gel
  4. Treat: A&E Corrector on individual areas once the preceding products have absorbed
  5. Protect: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning

When using A&E Corrector, keep the remainder of the routine gentle. Avoid introducing several exfoliating or oil-reducing products at the same time.

A&E Corrector, 5% Glyco Polymer Solution or Exfoliating Cleansing Gel?

These products address related concerns but serve different purposes.

  • Choose A&E Corrector for individual blemishes or localized areas of excess oil and congestion. It is a tinted, leave-on spot treatment.
  • Choose 5% Glyco Polymer Solution for broader concerns involving uneven texture, dullness and clogged-looking pores. It is a leave-on micro-peel intended for more extensive application.
  • Choose Exfoliating Cleansing Gel when oily or congested skin benefits from exfoliation during the cleansing step. Because it is rinsed away, its contact time is shorter.

Using all three aggressively in the same routine may cause unnecessary dryness or irritation. Alternate treatments and increase frequency gradually.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is A&E Corrector an acne medication?

A&E Corrector is presented as a cosmetic spot treatment, not a replacement for prescription or over-the-counter acne medication. It is designed to improve the visible appearance of individual blemishes, oiliness and post-breakout discoloration.

Can it be applied over the entire face?

No. This concentrated formula is best used only on affected areas. Applying it across the entire face could cause excessive dryness, flaking or irritation.

Does it work as a concealer?

The formula contains titanium dioxide and iron oxides that provide temporary tint and help soften the appearance of redness. However, it is a skincare treatment rather than a shade-matched cosmetic concealer, and the tint may not suit every complexion.

Can it help with acne scars?

It may help improve the appearance of flat post-blemish discoloration and uneven surface texture. It will not remove indented, raised or structural acne scars, which may require professional treatment.

How often should I use it?

Begin once daily or every other day on individual areas. If excessive dryness develops, reduce the frequency or pause use until the skin feels comfortable again.

Can sensitive skin use A&E Corrector?

Highly sensitive or barrier-impaired skin may find the formula too intensive. It contains alcohol, cinnamon bark extract, witch hazel, sulfur, lactic acid and resorcinol. Patch testing is strongly recommended.

Can I use it with retinol or exfoliating acids?

Avoid layering it directly over the same area with retinol, benzoyl peroxide, exfoliating acids or another strong blemish treatment, particularly when beginning. Alternate applications or consult a skincare professional for a personalized routine.

Can I use it after picking a blemish?

Do not apply it to broken, bleeding or freshly manipulated skin. Allow the area to close and calm before introducing an active spot treatment.

Can it be worn during the day?

Yes, provided the formula sits comfortably on your skin. Allow it to dry fully and apply broad-spectrum sunscreen. The tint does not provide tested sun protection and should not replace sunscreen.

Does it contain added fragrance?

Parfum or fragrance is not listed in the published ingredient list. However, the formula contains cinnamon bark extract and other botanicals that may be unsuitable for fragrance-reactive or highly sensitive skin.

Can A&E Corrector be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding safety should be reviewed with a physician or qualified healthcare provider. Because this is an active-heavy formula containing resorcinol and exfoliating ingredients, professional guidance is recommended before use.

How long will it take to see results?

The tinted finish provides an immediate cosmetic effect, while changes in the appearance of a blemish or post-blemish mark will vary according to the individual and the type of imperfection. Persistent or painful blemishes should be assessed by a dermatologist.
