Glycolic Acid Cleansing Foam for Dullness, Uneven Texture and Visible Pores
Dermaceutic Foamer is an exfoliating cleansing foam available in two glycolic acid concentrations to help remove impurities, accumulated dead skin cells and excess oil.
Both formulas combine glycolic acid with enoxolone, a licorice-derived soothing ingredient. This complementary combination helps purify and refine the skin while supporting comfort during exfoliation.
Choose Foamer 5 for gentler, progressive exfoliation or Foamer 15 for a more intensive treatment suited to skin already accustomed to glycolic acid.
Both variants are fragrance-free, silicone-free, vegan and suitable for all skin types. Foamer 15 is especially beneficial for normal, combination and oily skin.

Best For
Dermaceutic Foamer is especially suitable for skin experiencing:
• Dullness and loss of radiance
• Rough or uneven skin texture

How It Works
Dermaceutic Foamer combines glycolic acid with soothing enoxolone.
Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that helps loosen the bonds between accumulated dead skin cells. This allows them to be removed more efficiently, helping reveal smoother, brighter and more refined-looking skin.
Enoxolone, also known as glycyrrhetinic acid, is derived from licorice root. It provides soothing and calming benefits that help support skin comfort during exfoliation.
The main difference between the two variants is the concentration and intensity of glycolic acid:
-
Foamer 5 contains 5% glycolic acid
- Foamer 15 contains 15% glycolic acid

How to Use

- Rinse immediately when a tingling sensation begins.
- Avoid the eye contour, eyelids, lips and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply to irritated, sensitized or broken skin.
- Avoid using Foamer in the same routine as other concentrated AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating scrubs or intensive resurfacing treatments.
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every morning.
- Dermaceutic does not recommend Foamer 5 or Foamer 15 during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
Choosing the correct strength helps achieve effective exfoliation without unnecessarily sensitizing the skin.
We recommend beginning with Foamer 5 when you are new to glycolic acid, have sensitive skin or want a more progressive exfoliating cleanser.
Foamer 15 is best suited to skin already accustomed to exfoliating acids or experiencing more visible dullness, excess oil, congestion and uneven texture.
Although Dermaceutic permits daily use, we recommend beginning two or three times per week. Gradually increase the frequency only when the skin remains comfortable.
For the first application, leave the foam on for approximately 30 seconds rather than the full two minutes. Increase the contact time gradually according to skin tolerance.
Foamer is an active exfoliating treatment—not a cleanser that needs to be combined with additional acids. Follow with a hydrating serum or barrier-supporting moisturizer.

What is the difference between Foamer 5 and Foamer 15?
Foamer 5 contains 5% glycolic acid and provides gentler, progressive exfoliation.
Foamer 15 contains 15% glycolic acid and provides a more intensive exfoliating treatment for experienced users and normal to oily skin.
Which strength should I choose?
Choose Foamer 5 when you are new to glycolic acid, have sensitive skin or prefer a more gradual approach.
Choose Foamer 15 when your skin is already accustomed to exfoliating acids and you want a more intensive treatment for dullness, congestion and uneven texture.
Should I use Foamer on wet or dry skin?
Apply Foamer to completely dry skin. Dermaceutic notes that applying it to wet skin may reduce its effectiveness.
How long should I leave Foamer on?
Leave it on for up to two minutes or rinse as soon as tingling begins. New users should begin with a shorter contact time.
Can I use Foamer every day?
Dermaceutic recommends using it once daily. However, beginning two or three times per week may be more appropriate when introducing glycolic acid.
Is Foamer 5 suitable for sensitive skin?
Dermaceutic states that Foamer 5 may be used by sensitive skin. Introduce it gradually and rinse immediately if discomfort occurs.
Is Foamer 15 suitable for sensitive skin?
Dermaceutic recommends limiting Foamer 15 to once weekly for sensitive skin. Foamer 5 may be a more appropriate option if discomfort develops.
Is tingling normal?
A temporary tingling sensation may occur because both variants contain glycolic acid. Rinse as soon as tingling begins.
Persistent burning, redness or discomfort is not expected and indicates that the product may be too intensive or used too frequently.
Can I use Foamer with retinol?
Avoid using Foamer and retinol in the same routine when first introducing either product. Alternating them on different evenings may be appropriate for experienced users under professional guidance.
Can I use Foamer with other exfoliating acids?
Avoid combining it in the same routine with other AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating toners, scrubs or intensive resurfacing treatments.
Can I use Foamer around my eyes?
No. Avoid the eye contour, eyelids and the area immediately beneath the eyes.
