Luminous Velvet Powder Foundation
L’Elixir des Glaciers Poudre de Teint Précieuse is a sophisticated compact powder foundation designed to perfect the complexion with medium, buildable coverage and a naturally luminous velvet finish.
Its exceptionally fine texture melts seamlessly into the skin, helping blur visible imperfections, refine uneven-looking texture and softly unify the complexion without creating a dry or heavily powdered appearance.
Precious multilamellar mineral pigments capture and reflect light, while olive-derived squalane helps maintain softness and comfort throughout the day. Worn alone or layered over Teint Précieux, the complexion appears smooth, polished and beautifully refined.

Why It Is Different
Poudre de Teint Précieuse combines the convenience of a compact powder with the refined finish expected from L’Elixir des Glaciers.
Rather than leaving the complexion flat or visibly powdered, its multilamellar mineral pigments fuse with the skin and reflect light. This creates a soft-focus effect that helps disguise imperfections while preserving the complexion’s natural dimension and luminosity.
Olive-derived squalane enhances comfort, allowing the exceptionally fine powder to sit smoothly on the skin throughout the day. The coverage remains natural and buildable, making the formula equally suited to a complete complexion application, targeted correction or discreet touch-ups.
Coverage and Finish
Coverage: Medium and buildable
Finish: Natural luminous velvet
Texture: Exceptionally fine pressed powder
Effect: Soft-focus refinement without a flat or chalky appearance
Application: Included sponge or a powder brush
Poudre de Teint Précieuse is not intended to create a completely opaque mask. Its beauty lies in the way it perfects the complexion while allowing the skin to retain dimension and light.

How It Works
- Multilamellar pigments fuse with the complexion, helping camouflage visible imperfections while capturing and reflecting light.
- Mica and synthetic fluorphlogopite contribute to the formula’s softly luminous appearance without creating an obviously glittery finish.
- Boron nitride and lauroyl lysine provide slip and adhesion, helping the powder apply smoothly and evenly.
- Silica and soft-focus powders help blur uneven-looking texture and control excess surface shine.
- Olive-derived squalane, silicones and conditioning emollients help maintain a soft, comfortable finish, while vitamin E provides antioxidant support.
How to Use
Worn alone:
- Prepare the skin with your preferred skincare and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
- Using the included sponge or a powder brush, begin at the centre of the face and blend outward.
- For lighter coverage, gently sweep the powder over the complexion with a soft brush. For greater coverage, press and tap it onto the skin with the sponge.
- Build in thin layers until the desired coverage is achieved.
Over Teint Précieux:
- Apply Teint Précieux first and allow it to settle.
- Lightly press the powder over the T-zone, around the nose or wherever additional refinement and longevity are desired.
- Avoid a heavy layer over the entire face unless greater coverage is intentionally preferred.
For touch-ups: blot excess surface oil first, then press a small amount over areas where makeup has faded or shine has appeared. Layering powder directly over oil may create a heavier, uneven-looking finish.
Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
The application tool determines the final effect. Choose a soft, loosely packed brush for a lighter veil that gently refines the complexion. Use the included sponge with a pressing motion for greater correction and more concentrated coverage.
Begin with less product than you think you need. Apply one fine layer, examine the complexion in natural light and add coverage only where required.
Over Teint Précieux, focus the powder through the centre of the face rather than applying a dense layer everywhere. This maintains luminosity on the cheeks while refining areas more prone to visible texture or shine.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Poudre de Teint Précieuse?
It is L’Elixir des Glaciers’ compact powder foundation, with medium, buildable coverage and a naturally luminous velvet finish.
Does it contain shimmer?
It uses light-reflecting mineral pigments to create luminosity, but it is not designed to leave the complexion visibly glittery.
Can it be worn without liquid foundation?
Yes. Apply it with a brush for lighter coverage or press it onto the complexion with the included sponge for greater correction.
What is the difference between Poudre de Teint Précieuse and Teint Précieux?
Poudre de Teint Précieuse is a compact powder foundation with medium, buildable coverage and a luminous velvet finish. Teint Précieux is a liquid smoothing foundation with higher coverage and a refined matte-satin finish. They may be worn separately or layered together.
Will it make dry skin look powdery?
Its fine texture and olive-derived squalane are designed for comfortable wear. Dry skin should be well moisturized first, and the powder applied sparingly over areas with visible dryness or flaking.

It helps control unwanted surface shine, but its overall finish is naturally luminous rather than completely matte.
Does it contain talc?
Yes. Talc is the first ingredient in the current ingredient list.
Does it contain fragrance?
Fragrance does not appear in the current ingredient list. Those with sensitivities should always review the list printed on their specific compact.
