Understanding the UV Image
When sunscreen or another form of UV protection is applied, it will appear in the Pavise app as a shade of blue.
- Dark blue may indicate UV-absorbing protection
- Light blue may indicate UV-scattering protection
The shade itself is not a measure of whether one sunscreen is better than another. The goal is to look for consistent, complete coverage—particularly over areas where visible pigmentation or uneven tone may be present.
How to Use
- Connect the Pavise UV Camera to your iPhone.
- Download and open the Pavise app from the Apple App Store.
- Apply sunscreen evenly to the face and any exposed areas of the body.
- View your skin through the app to identify missed or unevenly covered areas.

iPhone Compatibility
The Pavise UV Camera is designed exclusively for use with iPhones.
- iPhone 14 and earlier: Select the Lightning connector version.
- iPhone 15 and newer: Select the USB-C option. The standard Lightning camera will arrive with a separate USB-C adapter.
Please note that the USB-C adapter is packaged separately from the camera.
