How to Use

This is the gel we reach for when a client tells us their skin feels hot, tight or overstimulated after doing too much. Apply a thin layer and give the skin a few minutes to settle before deciding whether another moisturizer is needed.

For combination or oily skin, O² Calming Gel may provide enough hydration on its own. For dry, compromised or mature skin, we recommend treating it as a soothing hydration layer and sealing it in with Essence Moisturizer or 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream.

If your skin is burning or stinging after retinol, exfoliating acids or another intensive treatment, pause those products rather than continuing to push through the irritation. Keep the routine simple until the skin feels comfortable again.

Because the formula contains orange flower water and orange oil, it would not be our first recommendation for someone with a known citrus-oil or essential-oil sensitivity. Patch test first if your skin is highly reactive.
