Brightening Night Cream for Dullness, Pigment Spots and Uneven Skin Tone
Dermaceutic Light Ceutic is an exfoliating night cream formulated to improve the appearance of dullness, pigment spots, uneven skin tone and irregular skin texture.
Its resurfacing formula combines 5.6% glycolic acid, 2% phytic acid and a 3% stabilized vitamin C complex. Together, these active ingredients help remove accumulated dead skin cells, support overnight skin renewal and promote a brighter, smoother and more harmonized-looking complexion.
A lamellar emulsion technology uses phospholipids to create a structure that resembles the skin’s natural lipid layers. This helps optimize active ingredient delivery while maintaining a comfortable cream texture.
Suitable for all skin types, Light Ceutic may be used as a daily night cream or incorporated into a more targeted brightening and resurfacing protocol.

How It Works
Light Ceutic combines exfoliating, brightening and antioxidant ingredients to support the skin’s natural overnight renewal process.
- Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that helps loosen the bonds between accumulated dead skin cells. This encourages more efficient exfoliation and helps reveal smoother, brighter-looking skin.
- Phytic acid provides antioxidant and brightening benefits. It works alongside glycolic acid to help improve the appearance of pigment spots and uneven skin tone.
- The stabilized vitamin C complex helps protect against oxidative stress while supporting firmer, more luminous-looking skin.
The formula also uses lamellar emulsion technology. Phospholipids form layered structures that resemble the organization of the skin’s natural lipids, helping improve active ingredient distribution and skin compatibility.
Clinical Results
In an in vivo study evaluating Light Ceutic in combination with C25 Cream over 56 days:
-
Complexion luminosity increased by 14%
-
The appearance of crow’s feet wrinkles was reduced by 12%
- 100% of participants trusted the efficacy and performance of the routine
The study was conducted on 20 volunteers by an independent European research organization. Individual results may vary.
How to Use
- Apply in the evening to clean, completely dry skin.
- Distribute a small amount over the face and neck.
- Avoid the eye contour, eyelids, lips and mucous membranes.
When introducing Light Ceutic, begin two or three evenings per week. Gradually increase the frequency according to skin tolerance.
Sensitive skin may begin with application every other evening.
- Allow the cream to absorb before applying an additional moisturizer when more hydration or comfort is needed.
- Do not apply to irritated, sensitized or broken skin.
- Avoid using Light Ceutic in the same routine as retinol, other AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating scrubs or intensive resurfacing treatments.
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 every morning and limit unprotected sun exposure.
- Dermaceutic does not recommend Light Ceutic during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
Dermaceutic Light Ceutic is an excellent starting point for clients who want to address dullness, uneven skin tone and surface pigmentation with a progressive nighttime exfoliating cream.
Although it contains a lower glycolic acid concentration than Turn Over 10 and Turn Over 15, it combines exfoliation with phytic acid and vitamin C to provide additional brightening and antioxidant benefits.
Begin slowly and keep the remainder of the evening routine simple. Follow with Dermaceutic Hyal Ceutic or Regen Ceutic when the skin requires additional hydration and barrier support.
Clients with combination skin may find the cream comfortable on its own, while dry or dehydrated skin may benefit from layering a richer moisturizer over it.
Do not use more product or apply it more frequently in an attempt to accelerate results. Consistency, skin-barrier support and daily sunscreen will provide a more effective long-term approach.

How often should I use Light Ceutic?
Begin two or three evenings per week and gradually increase the frequency according to skin tolerance.
Sensitive skin may prefer application every other evening.
Can Light Ceutic be used every night?
Yes. It is designed for regular evening use, but nightly application should only begin once the skin has developed a comfortable tolerance.

Yes. Its progressive exfoliating action can be a suitable introduction to glycolic acid. Begin slowly, particularly if you have not previously used exfoliating acids.
Is Light Ceutic suitable for sensitive skin?
Dermaceutic states that sensitive skin may use Light Ceutic every other evening. Highly reactive or compromised skin should restore its moisture barrier before introducing exfoliating acids.

Yes. Glycolic acid, phytic acid and vitamin C help reduce the appearance of surface pigmentation and promote a more even-looking complexion.
Can Light Ceutic help with post-acne marks?
It may help improve the appearance of brown post-blemish pigmentation and uneven texture. It will not correct raised, indented or textural acne scars.
What is the difference between Light Ceutic and Radiance?
Light Ceutic focuses on progressive overnight exfoliation, radiance and uneven skin tone using glycolic acid, phytic acid and vitamin C.
Radiance contains a broader combination of targeted pigmentation ingredients, including kojic acid, arbutin, niacinamide, mandelic acid and salicylic acid.
