Understand the light. Find your rhythm. Make it part of your care.
Look beneath the surface, then choose a colour to follow its path through the skin.
Choose any colour to follow its illustrative path.
Light does not stop at a precise line. These paths show a general pattern, not a measured depth or a promise of results. Every skin and device is different.
A colour name alone does not tell us its depth or prove a benefit.
Included in this device
Explore every colour, even when it is not included in your selected device. The check mark identifies this model’s modes. Choose a colour to discover Loshen devices that offer it.
Often used in devices for some inflammatory pimples.
Often used together in studies of skin texture and fine lines.
The right device, dose and routine matter more than a colour count.
Used by some devices for inflammatory pimples. It does not treat every type of acne. Pigmentation-prone skin needs extra care.
Blue light is used in some devices for inflammatory pimples. It does not treat every kind of acne: blackheads, whiteheads and deeper cysts need a different approach.
Pigmentation-prone skin needs particular care with blue light. Read the caution below.

Omnilux Clear Face ↗Omnilux Blemish Eraser ↗Therabody TheraFace Mask Glo ↗Often used for fine lines and skin texture. Results depend on the device and routine.
Red light is studied for concerns such as fine lines and skin texture. Trials have measured changes in collagen and elasticity, but the result belongs to the tested device and routine.
A red glow alone cannot tell you the dose reaching your skin.

Omnilux Contour Face ↗Omnilux Contour Neck & Décolleté ↗Omnilux Contour Glove ↗Light your eyes cannot see. It is often paired with red light. No visible glow does not mean the light is absent.
Near-infrared sits beyond visible red. It is often paired with red light in skin studies and generally reaches deeper than blue light. Invisible does not mean inactive—or automatically more effective.
Shown in taupe here because near-infrared has no visible colour.

A purple-light programme. The brand links this colour to tone-related cosmetic concerns; it is not a treatment recommendation for melasma.
FOREO describes these as cosmetic programmes. For its FAQ 200 masks, the brand states that green, orange, yellow, purple and cyan are not intended to have a medical effect.
A blue-green cosmetic mode, described by FOREO as calming. Its colour alone does not establish a clinical benefit.

Cyan is a blue-green light mode, presented by FOREO as a calming cosmetic programme.
FOREO describes these as cosmetic programmes. For its FAQ 200 masks, the brand states that green, orange, yellow, purple and cyan are not intended to have a medical effect.

It identifies the wavelength—the type of light. It is not a power rating.
The details that matter, gathered here for your model.
Wavelengths are nominal specifications. Where no verified number is available, we identify the mode without guessing. Follow the instructions supplied with your exact device.

Red, blue, near-infrared… each brings a different kind of light to your skin. The useful question is what your device delivers, and how it fits your needs.
A nanometre is a tiny unit of length. It describes a light wave’s wavelength—not the device’s power or a promised result.

A 12-week study enrolled 35 adults using a routine with eight treatment modalities. Findings describe the combined TheraFace PRO protocol, so improvements cannot be attributed to LED alone.

No. Wavelength describes the light. Irradiance describes how much light power reaches an area of skin; exposure time also shapes the dose. Compare the complete device and its tested routine.
Follow the model’s timer and frequency. More light is not automatically more useful; photobiomodulation responses depend on dose. Do not extend a session or stack treatments to chase faster results.
Heat is not a measure of LED effectiveness. Some hybrid devices add heating or radiofrequency as separate functions; those have their own instructions.
It depends on the model. Some routines begin on clean, dry skin; others require a particular mask, serum or conductive primer. Follow the device-specific ritual below.
General light research explains the technology. It does not certify the results of every product shown here.
