A rich Hya10+ and multi-peptide serum for visibly plumper, firmer and more resilient-looking skin

Le Mieux Collagen Peptide Serum is a creamy, moisture-intensive treatment developed for visible loss of firmness, elasticity and facial definition. The updated formula combines six peptides with the Hya10+ Complex—10 distinct forms of hyaluronic acid—to replenish hydration and help dry, depleted skin appear smoother, fuller and more supple.

Galactomyces ferment filtrate forms the antioxidant-rich base, while ceramides, shea butter, rice bran oil and plant sterols support the skin’s moisture barrier. Apple fruit cell culture extract, green tea derivatives, vitamin E and superoxide dismutase complement the formula with conditioning and antioxidant benefits.

Despite its name, Collagen Peptide Serum does not contain topical collagen. Its peptides and supporting ingredients are intended to promote the appearance of firmer, more elastic skin; they should not be presented as physically lifting facial tissue or guaranteeing new collagen production.

Benefits
  • Provides intensive, multi-dimensional hydration
  • Helps visibly plump skin affected by dehydration
  • Supports firmer and more elastic-looking facial contours
  • Softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Helps restore visible bounce and suppleness
  • Supports the moisture barrier with ceramides and lipid-rich emollients
  • Helps reduce the dry, crepey appearance of depleted skin
  • Conditions and smooths rough or uneven-looking texture
  • Provides antioxidant support against environmental stress
  • Contains no added fragrance or essential oils in the published formula
Best For

Collagen Peptide Serum is particularly well suited to:

  • Visible loss of firmness or elasticity
  • Sagging-looking facial contours
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Dryness and dehydration
  • Crepey or less resilient-looking skin
  • Dull, depleted or tired-looking complexions
  • Normal, dry or mature skin
  • Combination skin needing richer seasonal support
  • Clients who prefer a creamy serum rather than a watery gel
  • Routines focused on hydration, barrier support and visible signs of aging

Very oily or highly congestion-prone skin may find the rich combination of shea butter, rice bran oil and emollients heavier than a conventional gel serum. Individual tolerance varies.

Why It Is Different

Collagen Peptide Serum combines the concentrated feel of a serum with some of the nourishing components more commonly associated with a moisturizer.

Rather than relying on one peptide or one form of hyaluronic acid, it pairs six peptides with 10 forms of hyaluronic acid, ceramides, antioxidants, fermented ingredients and moisture-supporting lipids.

  • Hya10+ Complex: Combines 10 forms of hyaluronic acid to support hydration across the skin’s surface and visibly plump dehydration lines.
  • Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate: Forms the first ingredient of the formula and helps condition the skin while supporting a smoother, brighter-looking complexion.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5: Supports firmer, smoother-looking skin and helps soften the visible appearance of wrinkles.
  • Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2: Helps support the appearance of skin firmness and elasticity.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: A complementary peptide pairing used to support smoother and more resilient-looking skin.
  • Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4: Helps improve the visible appearance of fine lines and skin texture.
  • Acetyl Octapeptide-3: Helps soften the appearance of expression lines.
  • Ceramides NS and NP: Help reinforce the moisture barrier and reduce water loss.
  • Apple Fruit Cell Culture Extract: A plant cell culture ingredient that provides conditioning and antioxidant support.
  • Retinyl Palmitate: A vitamin A ester that supports skin conditioning and visible renewal without making this a conventional retinol serum.
  • Shea Butter, Rice Bran Oil and Plant Sterols: Nourish dry skin and help maintain softness and comfort.
How to Use

Use morning and night.

After cleansing and toning, gently pat one to two pumps onto the face and neck. Apply after lightweight, water-based essences or serums and before moisturizer.

One pump may be sufficient for the face. Use a second pump when extending the treatment to the neck and décolleté or when the skin requires additional nourishment.

If your skin is sensitive or unfamiliar with vitamin A derivatives, begin once daily or every other evening and increase gradually if the skin remains comfortable.

Follow with broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation

Collagen Peptide Serum is an excellent choice when the skin looks less firm but also feels dry, tight or depleted. Its creamy texture makes it more nourishing than Le Mieux Hyaluronic Serum or TGF-β Booster.

Apply it while the skin is still slightly damp from toner or essence, then seal it in with moisturizer. Dry and mature skin may enjoy it morning and night, while combination skin may prefer it in the evening or during colder, drier seasons.

More is not better with this formula. Begin with one pump and allow it to settle before applying your next step. Using too many rich layers can create pilling without improving results.

Because the formula contains retinyl palmitate, we would not immediately combine it with a separate retinol or strong retinoid in the same routine. Alternate evenings at first and monitor for dryness, peeling or sensitivity.

Do not place Collagen Peptide Serum inside the Le Mieux Ionized Oxygen Infuser. Le Mieux specifically lists it as incompatible with that device. Apply the serum directly to the skin by hand.

Complete the Le Mieux Firming Routine
  1. Cleanse: Peptide Foam Cleanser or Phyto-Nutrient Cleansing Gel
  2. Tone: Iso-Cell Recovery Solution or a toner suited to your skin
  3. Hydrate: Apply Hyaluronic Serum first if additional lightweight hydration is needed
  4. Firm: Pat one to two pumps of Collagen Peptide Serum onto the face and neck
  5. Treat the Eyes: Apply Eye Wrinkle Corrector or Eye & Lip Cream
  6. Moisturize: Follow with Essence Moisturizer, Bio Cell Rejuvenating Cream or 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream
  7. Protect: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning

Because Collagen Peptide Serum already combines humectants, peptides, ceramides and emollients, an elaborate collection of additional serums is rarely necessary.

Collagen Peptide Serum, TGF-β Booster or Hyaluronic Serum?

These treatments overlap in hydration benefits but serve different priorities.

  • Choose Collagen Peptide Serum when loss of firmness is accompanied by dryness, crepiness or a weakened-feeling moisture barrier. It has the richest, creamiest texture of the three.
  • Choose TGF-β Booster when visible lines, texture and firmness are the priorities but a lighter, milky serum texture is preferred.
  • Choose Hyaluronic Serum when dehydration is the central concern and a lightweight gel serum is needed for easy layering across most skin types.
  • Choose Bio Cell Rejuvenating Cream when you want a richer finishing moisturizer rather than another treatment serum.
  • Choose 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream when prolonged moisture and barrier support are the priority, particularly for dry or mature skin.

Collagen Peptide Serum can be paired with a moisturizer, but most clients do not need several peptide serums in the same routine.

Peptides, Collagen and Visible Firmness

Peptides are short chains of amino acids used in skincare to support the appearance of firmness, elasticity, texture and wrinkles. Different peptides have different intended cosmetic functions, which is why Collagen Peptide Serum combines several rather than relying on only one.

The presence of peptides does not mean the serum physically replaces lost collagen or performs a structural facial lift. Hydration can create an immediate plumping effect, while longer-term improvements in firmness and lines require consistent use.

The manufacturer’s current public product page does not provide a finished-product clinical trial establishing a precise percentage of collagen increase. Claims should therefore remain focused on visible cosmetic improvement.

Understanding the Hya10+ Complex

The formula contains 10 forms of hyaluronic acid:

  1. Sodium Hyaluronate
  2. Hyaluronic Acid
  3. Zinc Hydrolyzed Hyaluronate
  4. Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate
  5. Sodium Hyaluronate Dimethylsilanol
  6. Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer
  7. C12-13 Alkyl Glyceryl Hydrolyzed Hyaluronate
  8. Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid
  9. Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
  10. Ascorbyl Propyl Hyaluronate

These ingredients have different structures and skin-conditioning properties. Together, they support moisture retention, softness and visible surface plumping.

Claims that individual hyaluronic acid forms penetrate every layer of the skin or create permanent volume would be an overstatement. This is topical hydration—not an injectable filler.

Apple Stem Cells in Skincare

The ingredient described as apple stem cells is listed as Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract.

This is a plant-derived cell culture extract used for antioxidant and skin-conditioning benefits. Plant cells do not transform into human skin cells, regenerate human stem cells or replace lost tissue.

Its role is best understood as part of the formula’s broader antioxidant and conditioning system.

Retinyl Palmitate and Retinol

Collagen Peptide Serum contains retinyl palmitate, a vitamin A ester. It is not the same ingredient as retinol and this formula is not positioned as a dedicated retinoid treatment.

Retinyl palmitate generally requires additional conversion steps within the skin before reaching retinoic acid, making it less direct than retinol. Its concentration in this formula is not disclosed, so it should not be compared numerically with a retinol serum.

Sensitive skin should still introduce the formula gradually, particularly when exfoliating acids, prescription retinoids or other vitamin A products are already part of the routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Collagen Peptide Serum contain collagen?

No collagen appears in the published ingredient list. The product name refers to its multi-peptide complex and its intended support for firmer, more elastic-looking skin.

Will it make my skin produce collagen?

Several peptides in the formula are used to support the appearance of firmness and wrinkles. However, the current public product page does not provide finished-product clinical data proving a specific increase in human collagen production.

Will it lift sagging skin?

It can help skin appear plumper, smoother and firmer through hydration, conditioning and continued peptide use. It cannot physically reposition sagging tissue or reproduce the results of a medical procedure.

How quickly will I see results?

Hydration and visible plumpness may be noticeable soon after application. Changes in the appearance of firmness, elasticity and wrinkles require consistent use and vary between individuals. Le Mieux does not publish a guaranteed treatment timeline on the current product page.

Is Collagen Peptide Serum a moisturizer?

It is classified as a serum, but its creamy texture contains ceramides, shea butter, rice bran oil and other emollients. Dry skin should generally follow with moisturizer, while some combination skin may find it sufficiently nourishing beneath sunscreen during warmer weather.

What skin types can use it?

It is best suited to normal, dry, mature or dehydrated skin. Combination skin may prefer it at night. Very oily or highly congestion-prone skin should introduce it cautiously because of its rich texture.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The published formula contains no added fragrance or essential oils, but it does contain multiple peptides, ferments, botanical ingredients and retinyl palmitate. Sensitive skin should patch test and introduce it gradually.

Is Collagen Peptide Serum fragrance-free?

No parfum, fragrance or essential oils appear in the published ingredient list. Naturally occurring ingredient aromas may still be present.

Does it contain retinol?

It does not contain retinol, but it does contain retinyl palmitate, a different and generally milder vitamin A ester.

Is it a retinoid serum?

No. Retinyl palmitate is part of the formula, but Collagen Peptide Serum is primarily positioned as a hydrating, peptide-rich firming serum rather than a dedicated retinoid treatment.

Can I combine it with retinol?

Potentially, but the formula already contains retinyl palmitate. Begin by alternating evenings with a separate retinol or prescription retinoid rather than layering them immediately. Reduce frequency if dryness or irritation develops.

Can I combine it with exfoliating acids?

Yes, but sensitive skin may prefer acids and Collagen Peptide Serum on separate evenings. Avoid combining several active products when the skin is already dry, peeling or irritated.

Can I use it with vitamin C?

Yes. It can be layered after a lightweight vitamin C serum if the skin tolerates the combination. Collagen Peptide Serum also contains antioxidant ingredients and vitamin C–related derivatives within its own formula.

Can I use it in the morning?

Yes. Le Mieux directs the serum for morning and evening use. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen as the final step of the morning routine.

Can I use it around the eyes?

Avoid applying it directly to the eyelids or too close to the eyes. Use a dedicated eye product for the immediate eye contour.

Can I use it with the Ionized Oxygen Infuser?

No. Le Mieux specifically identifies Collagen Peptide Serum as incompatible with the Ionized Oxygen Infuser. Apply it directly to the skin by hand.

Can I use it with the Skin Perfecter?

Because Collagen Peptide Serum has a creamy, emollient-rich texture, Loshen & Crem prefers applying it by hand. A lighter water-based serum generally provides more comfortable glide for the Skin Perfecter’s serum-application technique.

Why is the serum pilling beneath my moisturizer or sunscreen?

Pilling can occur when too much product is used or several film-forming formulas are layered too quickly. Reduce the application to one pump, pat rather than rub and allow each layer to settle before continuing.

Can blemish-prone skin use it?

Potentially, but the rich formula contains shea butter, rice bran oil and several emollients. These ingredients are not automatically pore-clogging, but individual tolerance varies. The serum is not an acne treatment.

Are the apple stem cells human stem cells?

No. Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract is a plant-derived cosmetic ingredient. It does not contain human stem cells and cannot become human skin tissue.

Can Collagen Peptide Serum be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

The formula contains retinyl palmitate, a vitamin A ester. Le Mieux’s published FAQ distinguishes it from retinol and does not identify retinyl palmitate as contraindicated; however, professional guidance regarding vitamin A derivatives during pregnancy can vary. Consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before use.

Great Addition to My Routine

This serum was recommended to me and I really enjoyed using it in my nighttime routine. I loved the texture — lightweight, yet it absorbed beautifully. I noticed my skin looked firmer and more refreshed. Such a great addition to my routine.

So Moisturizing!

This serum is fabulous! It’s a rich, creamy texture that’s great for my dry skin. I can feel a “plump” after using it and it has noticeably helped my skin feel more firm. No breakouts to report either! Very happy with the results, especially for the price.
