Because both methods are present, the way the mask is used matters. A thin layer, light pressure and a short application time provide sufficient exfoliation without unnecessary scrubbing.

How to Use

Use in the evening, two to three times per week at most.

Apply a thin, even layer to a clean, wet face, avoiding the eye and lip areas. Using very light pressure, massage in small circular motions to distribute the mask evenly.

Leave on for up to five minutes. Sensitive skin should begin with no more than two minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Begin once weekly and increase only if the skin remains comfortable. A mild, brief tingle may occur; burning, significant discomfort or persistent redness are signals to rinse immediately. Patch test before first use and apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning.

Superfruit combines both approaches, which can create a smooth, polished result but also increases the importance of restraint. Applying more product, scrubbing harder or leaving the mask on longer does not improve the result—it increases the likelihood of irritation.

It is both. The AHA complex provides chemical exfoliation, while rice powder provides gentle physical exfoliation as the mask is applied.

How often should I use it?

Begin once weekly. If your skin remains comfortable and your routine does not contain several other exfoliating products, you may gradually increase to two or three times weekly.

Can sensitive skin use Superfruit?

Sensitive skin should patch test first and leave the mask on for no more than two minutes. It may not be appropriate for highly reactive, actively irritated or barrier-compromised skin.

Is tingling normal?

A mild, brief tingling sensation can occur with AHA exfoliation. Burning, pain, intense flushing or discomfort that persists is not a result to push through—rinse the mask off immediately.

Can I use it on the same evening as retinol or SkinHero™?

No. Use Superfruit on a different evening from retinol, SkinHero™, exfoliating acids or other intensive resurfacing products to reduce the risk of over-exfoliation.

Should I massage the rice powder into my skin?

Use only light circular motions to distribute the mask. Aggressive or prolonged scrubbing can create unnecessary irritation.

Can Superfruit help with congested pores?

It can help remove surface buildup and improve the appearance of congestion, but it is not an acne medication or a substitute for a leave-on salicylic acid treatment.

Will it make my skin purge?
