A rich peptide and ceramide treatment for smoother, firmer eye and lip contours
Nicknamed the “Unicorn Cream” for its distinctive iridescent appearance, Le Mieux Eye & Lip Cream is an award-winning treatment created for the delicate, movement-prone areas around the eyes and lips. Its concentrated blend of peptides, ceramides, essential skin lipids and botanical oils helps soften visible lines while replenishing dry, fragile-feeling skin.
Unlike a lightweight eye gel, this deeply nourishing formula focuses on moisture retention and barrier support. Ceramides, cholesterol, phospholipids and fatty acids work together to reinforce the skin’s protective lipid structure, while palmitoyl peptides and acetyl hexapeptide-8 support a firmer, smoother-looking appearance.
Eye & Lip Cream is especially well suited to dry, mature or sensitive skin that finds retinol-based eye treatments too active or traditional eye gels insufficiently nourishing.
Benefits
- Provides rich, lasting moisture to dry eye and lip contours
- Softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Helps visibly smooth crepey or fragile-looking skin
- Supports a firmer, more supple appearance
- Helps strengthen and replenish the skin’s moisture barrier
- Improves the appearance of elasticity and texture
- Conditions dry skin around the lips
- Helps soften the look of vertical lip lines
- Provides antioxidant support with vitamin E and botanical oils
- Does not rely on retinol or exfoliating acids
Best For
Eye & Lip Cream is particularly well suited to:
- Dry or very dry eye contours
- Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
- Vertical lines around the lip contour
- Crepey or fragile-looking skin
- Visible loss of firmness and elasticity
- Mature or lipid-depleted skin
- Skin exposed to cold or dry climates
- Clients who find lightweight eye gels insufficient
- Sensitive skin that does not tolerate retinol-based eye treatments
- Anyone wanting one concentrated treatment for both the eyes and lips
Its rich lipid texture may feel too nourishing for very oily eye contours or those highly prone to milia. Begin with a very small amount if congestion is a concern.
Why It Is Different
Eye & Lip Cream is not simply a moisturizer placed in a smaller bottle. Its published formula is centred around peptides, ceramides, cholesterol, phospholipids, fatty acids and nutrient-rich oils rather than a traditional water-based cream structure.
This combination addresses two priorities at once: supporting a smoother, firmer appearance with peptides and replenishing the lipids that help delicate skin retain moisture.
- Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1: A matrikine peptide that supports smoother-looking texture, firmness and elasticity.
- Acetyl Hexapeptide-8: Helps soften the visible appearance of expression-related lines.
- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: Support a firmer, more refined-looking eye and lip contour.
- Ceramides NS, NP and AP: Help replenish essential barrier lipids and reduce moisture loss.
- Cholesterol, Fatty Acids and Phospholipids: Complement the ceramides to support a stronger, more comfortable moisture barrier.
- Bacaba Fruit Oil: Provides fatty acids and antioxidant support while conditioning dry skin.
- Kukui Seed Oil: Nourishes and softens with lightweight plant lipids.
- Rice Bran Oil: Helps condition the skin and provides antioxidant support.
- Vitamin E: Helps protect against visible environmental stress while supporting skin softness.
How to Use
Use morning and evening.
After cleansing and applying facial serums, dispense a very small amount onto a clean fingertip. Gently press around the eye contour, following the orbital bone. Avoid rubbing, pulling or applying directly along the wet lash line.
Apply another small amount around the lip contour, concentrating on areas of dryness and visible lines. The product may also be applied sparingly to the external surface of the lips. Avoid the inner lip and do not ingest.
Allow the cream to absorb before applying makeup, sunscreen or lip colour. Because the formula is concentrated and rich in lipids, a little goes a very long way.
Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation
This is the one we recommend when the concern is not only wrinkles—it is dryness, fragility and that almost tissue-paper appearance that can develop around the eyes and lips.
Eye & Lip Cream is richer and more protective than Eye Wrinkle Corrector. We particularly love it for mature skin, Edmonton winters and clients whose eye contour still feels dry ten minutes after applying a traditional eye cream.
Use restraint. One tiny amount can treat both eyes, and another tiny amount is enough for the lip contour. Applying more will not make the peptides work faster; it may simply encourage pilling, makeup movement or milia.
For very dry skin, apply Eye & Lip Cream in the evening and use Eye Wrinkle Corrector in the morning. Most clients do not need both products in the same application. The goal is thoughtful layering, not asking the eye contour to host a skincare convention.
Clients with a tree-nut allergy should review the formula carefully because it contains kukui seed oil. When an allergy is known or severe, consult your physician or allergist before use.
Complete the Le Mieux Eye and Lip Renewal Routine
- Cleanse: Peptide Foam Cleanser

- Treat: Press Eye & Lip Cream around the orbital and lip contours
- Moisturize: Apply Bio Cell Rejuvenating Cream or 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream to the face and neck
- Protect: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, including an SPF lip product
- Weekly Treatment: Apply TGF-β Eye Firming Mask when the eye contour needs additional hydration and smoothing
Eye & Lip Cream or Eye Wrinkle Corrector?
Both products address visible signs of aging around the eyes, but they are not interchangeable.
- Choose Eye & Lip Cream when dryness, crepiness, barrier depletion and lines around both the eyes and lips are the primary concerns. Its ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids and oils provide a richer, more protective treatment.
- Choose Eye Wrinkle Corrector when puffiness, tired-looking dark circles, dehydration and general eye-area aging are the priorities. It combines multiple forms of hyaluronic acid with a broader peptide complex.
- Use Eye Wrinkle Corrector in the morning and Eye & Lip Cream at night when the eye contour needs hydration during the day and richer lipid support overnight.
- Choose TGF-β Eye Firming Mask as an occasional intensive treatment rather than a replacement for daily eye care.
Most clients need one daily eye treatment. Choosing the formula that matches the actual concern is more effective than automatically layering both.
Why Ceramides Matter Around the Eyes and Lips
The delicate areas around the eyes and lips are constantly affected by facial movement, cleansing, makeup removal and environmental exposure. When the moisture barrier becomes depleted, fine lines can appear more pronounced and the skin may feel tight, rough or uncomfortable.
Ceramides are naturally occurring lipids found within the skin barrier. They work alongside cholesterol and fatty acids to help limit moisture loss and maintain flexibility.
Eye & Lip Cream includes three types of ceramides together with cholesterol, phospholipids, glycosphingolipids and fatty acids. This lipid-focused composition helps explain why the cream is particularly suitable for dry and fragile-looking contours.
Ceramides cannot remove established wrinkles, but improving hydration and barrier function can make delicate skin look smoother, softer and less crepey.
What Are Matrikine Peptides?
Matrikines are naturally occurring peptide fragments associated with communication within the skin’s extracellular matrix. Cosmetic matrikine-inspired peptides are designed to support the appearance of firmness, elasticity and smoother texture.
Eye & Lip Cream contains palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 alongside acetyl hexapeptide-8. These ingredients are commonly incorporated into age-supportive formulas targeting fine lines and loss of firmness.
Peptides can contribute to visible improvement with consistent use, but they do not work like injectable treatments and should not be presented as permanently filling or erasing wrinkles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Eye & Lip Cream called the “Unicorn Cream”?
The nickname refers to the product’s distinctive pastel, iridescent appearance. It is still a functional peptide and ceramide treatment rather than a highlighting or colour cosmetic.
Does it contain glitter?
No mica, glitter or colour pigment appears in the current published ingredient list. The product’s iridescence is part of the cream’s visual texture rather than a conventional shimmer pigment.
Who does Loshen & Crem recommend it for?
We recommend it for dry, mature or fragile-looking eye and lip contours, especially when fine lines become more visible because the skin feels depleted. It is also a thoughtful alternative for clients who want age-supportive care without retinol.
Is Eye & Lip Cream richer than Eye Wrinkle Corrector?
Yes. Eye & Lip Cream is more lipid-focused, with ceramides, cholesterol, fatty acids and botanical oils. Eye Wrinkle Corrector places greater emphasis on hyaluronic acid, puffiness and tired-looking dark circles.
Can it be used around both the eyes and lips?
Yes. Apply a tiny amount around the orbital contour and another small amount around the lips. Avoid placing it directly into the eyes or on the inner lip.
Can it be applied directly to the lips?
It may be applied sparingly to the clean, external surface of the lips as well as the surrounding contour. It is not a replacement for a protective lip balm or SPF lip product.
Will it remove vertical lip lines?
It can hydrate and soften the visible appearance of fine lines, particularly when dryness makes them look more pronounced. It cannot permanently remove deeper lines caused by repeated movement or structural changes.
Does it permanently erase eye wrinkles?
No. The formula can improve moisture, softness and the visible appearance of fine lines, but no cosmetic eye cream permanently erases established wrinkles.
How much should I apply?
Use a very small amount—approximately one rice-grain-sized amount divided between both eyes is a sensible starting point. Use another small amount for the lip contour.
Can I use it morning and evening?
Yes. Le Mieux recommends use both morning and night. Those who find the texture too rich beneath makeup may prefer to reserve it for evening use.
Can it be worn under concealer or lipstick?
Yes, but apply sparingly and allow it to absorb before makeup. Blot away any excess around the lips before applying lip liner or long-wear lipstick.
Can it cause milia?
Any rich, lipid-based eye cream may contribute to congestion in someone prone to milia, particularly when too much is applied. Begin with a very small amount and keep it away from the lash line.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is formulated for delicate and sensitive skin, and the current published formula does not list added fragrance, essential oils, retinoids or exfoliating acids. Individual tolerance still varies, so patch testing is appropriate.
Is it fragrance-free?
No parfum, fragrance or essential oil appears in the current published ingredient list. Individual sensitivities to botanical oils or other ingredients can still occur.
Can I use it if I have a nut allergy?
The formula contains Aleurites Moluccanus Seed Oil, commonly known as kukui or candlenut oil. Anyone with a tree-nut allergy—particularly a severe allergy—should consult a physician or allergist before use.
Does it contain retinol?
No retinol or other retinoid appears in the current published ingredient list.
Can it be combined with a retinol eye treatment?
Possibly, but introducing several eye treatments can increase sensitivity. Use them at different times or on alternate evenings rather than automatically layering them together.
Can it be applied to the upper eyelid?
Apply around the orbital contour and avoid the mobile eyelid, inner corners and lash line unless a skincare or medical professional has directed otherwise.
How long does it take to see results?
The nourishing oils and lipids can make dry skin feel softer quickly. Improvements in the visible appearance of fine lines, firmness and texture require consistent use. Le Mieux does not publish a guaranteed result timeline.
Is it suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
The current published formula does not list retinoids or exfoliating acids. However, consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider if you have questions about introducing it during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
