Mineral sunscreen uses zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or a combination of both as its active UV filters. It is also commonly called physical sunscreen. What matters most, however, is choosing broad-spectrum protection that feels comfortable enough to apply generously and wear consistently.
Mineral sunscreen is often selected by people who prefer mineral-only UV filters and may be a suitable option for sensitive or reactive skin. However, mineral does not automatically mean gentler for every person. Fragrance, preservatives and the rest of the formulation can still influence how the skin responds, making a patch test important for highly sensitive skin.

I have been using this product for three months now on an under-eye, pitted scar from having a basal cell carcinoma removed. The results are incredible! Within the first couple of weeks, my daughter noticed a huge change in my scar and it has only gotten better since then. Remember to put nothing underneath or on top of this gel (except for sunscreen!) for best results. Really happy with my purchase.
