How It Works

Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that helps loosen dull surface cells while supporting smoother-looking texture and a brighter complexion. It is paired with a multi-ingredient brightening complex—including tranexamic acid, licorice root, vitamin C, bearberry and oligopeptide-68—to support a more even-looking skin tone.

As a rinse-off formula, Brightening Cleanser is best used to prepare the skin for targeted serums and moisturizers rather than as the sole treatment for persistent pigmentation.

How to Use

1. Dispense a small amount into moistened hands and work into a light lather.
2. Massage gently over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.
4. Use morning and/or evening as tolerated.
5. Follow with targeted serums, moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day.

If your skin is new to exfoliating cleansers, begin once daily or several times per week before increasing use.

For visible dark spots, post-blemish marks or uneven tone, use Brightening Cleanser as the first step in a complete pigment-focused routine. Follow with a targeted leave-on serum and wear broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, as UV exposure can deepen existing pigmentation and contribute to new discolouration.

Avoid combining too many exfoliating products in the same routine. If the skin begins to feel tight, dry or sensitized, alternate this cleanser with a gentle, non-exfoliating formula.
