A multi-action peptide, vitamin C and brightening serum for fine lines, uneven tone and dehydration

Le Mieux Rx Complex Serum is an award-winning, multi-action treatment created for clients who want to address several visible concerns without layering an entire wardrobe of serums. Its sophisticated formula combines peptides, ten forms of hyaluronic acid, tranexamic acid, niacinamide, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, ceramide NS and antioxidant ingredients.

The fermentation-based serum helps hydrate and visibly plump the skin while improving the appearance of fine lines, uneven tone, dark spots, dullness and irregular texture. Lightweight botanical oils, beta-glucan and aloe complement the active ingredients with conditioning and barrier-supportive benefits.

Rx Complex Serum can replace several targeted serums within a simplified routine, but it is not literally an entire skincare regimen in one bottle. Most clients will still need an appropriate cleanser, moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Benefits
  • Provides multi-dimensional hydration with ten forms of hyaluronic acid
  • Plumps the appearance of dehydration lines
  • Softens the look of fine lines and expression-related wrinkles
  • Helps improve visible firmness and smoothness
  • Supports a brighter, more even-looking complexion
  • Helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and post-blemish marks
  • Refines uneven or rough-looking texture
  • Provides antioxidant support against environmental stressors
  • Supports the skin’s moisture barrier with ceramide NS and phospholipids
  • Combines several treatment categories within one streamlined serum
  • Layers comfortably beneath moisturizer and sunscreen
  • Suitable for morning and evening use
Best For

Rx Complex Serum is particularly well suited to:

  • Fine lines and early visible wrinkles
  • Dehydration and loss of visible plumpness
  • Uneven or rough-looking texture
  • Dark spots and post-blemish discoloration
  • Dullness and loss of radiance
  • Uneven-looking skin tone
  • Early loss of firmness
  • Normal, dry, combination or mature skin
  • Clients who prefer one comprehensive serum over several separate treatments
  • Busy routines that still require meaningful hydration and age-supportive care
  • Uneven pigmentation as part of a broader sunscreen-centred routine

The formula contains fragrance. Those with highly sensitive, fragrance-reactive or recently compromised skin should patch test carefully or select a fragrance-free alternative.

Why It Is Different

Rx Complex Serum combines ingredients usually divided among several products: hyaluronic acid for hydration, peptides for visible lines and firmness, tranexamic acid and niacinamide for uneven tone, a vitamin C derivative for brightness and antioxidants for environmental support.

Galactomyces ferment filtrate is the first listed ingredient, followed by the brand’s Hya10+ complex. Ceramide NS, phospholipids, beta-glucan, aloe and lightweight botanical oils provide additional conditioning within a treatment focused on multiple visible signs of aging.

  • Hya10+ Complex: A blend of ten listed forms and derivatives of hyaluronic acid that supports hydration, softness and visible plumpness.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5: Helps improve the appearance of firmness, fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Acetyl Octapeptide-3: A cosmetic peptide used to soften the appearance of expression-related lines.
  • Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate: The peptide marketed as Syn®-Ake, designed to reduce the visible depth of expression lines.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: Complementary peptides that support smoother, firmer-looking skin.
  • Nonapeptide-1: Supports a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
  • Tranexamic Acid: Helps improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation and persistent-looking discoloration.
  • Niacinamide: Supports barrier function, visible clarity and a more balanced-looking skin tone.
  • Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: A water-soluble vitamin C derivative that provides antioxidant and brightening benefits.
  • Ceramide NS: Supports the lipid structure of the skin’s moisture barrier.
  • Superoxide Dismutase, Tocotrienols and Tocopherol: Provide antioxidant support against environmental stressors.
  • Galactomyces and Saccharomyces Ferments: Condition the skin and support a smoother, more radiant appearance.
How to Use

Use in the morning and evening.

After cleansing and toning, apply three to five drops to the face and neck. Gently press the serum into the skin until absorbed.

Follow with moisturizer. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, particularly when uneven pigmentation or dark spots are among your concerns.

When layering multiple products, use Rx Complex Serum after watery mists or toners and before creams, facial oils and sunscreen.

If your skin is sensitive or you are introducing several new active products, begin once daily and increase to morning and evening use once the skin remains comfortable.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation

Rx Complex Serum is our choice for the client who wants one intelligent, comprehensive treatment rather than five open bottles competing for attention—and bathroom counter space.

It can comfortably take the place of a separate hyaluronic serum, peptide serum and basic brightening serum for many clients. It cannot replace moisturizer or sunscreen, and no serum should be expected to “erase” aging.

Begin with three drops. Follow with Essence Moisturizer for a lightweight finish or 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream when the skin needs additional richness and barrier support.

For uneven pigmentation, consistency matters more than intensity. Apply Rx Complex Serum regularly, protect the skin from daily ultraviolet exposure and avoid constantly switching between brightening products. Persistent melasma or complex pigmentation generally requires a more targeted professional plan; Rx Complex Serum should not be presented as a complete melasma treatment.

Because fragrance appears in the ingredient list, this would not be our first selection for highly fragrance-reactive skin or immediately after a procedure. EGF-DNA Serum, Hyaluronic Serum or another fragrance-free option may be more appropriate depending on the concern.

Complete the Le Mieux Multi-Action Routine
  1. Cleanse: Peptide Foam Cleanser or Phyto-Nutrient Cleansing Gel
  2. Tone: Iso-Cell Recovery Solution
  3. Treat: Rx Complex Serum
  4. Target the Eyes: Eye Wrinkle Corrector
  5. Moisturize: Essence Moisturizer or 24 Hr. Age Defying Cream
  6. Protect: Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning

This routine already provides peptides, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and brightening ingredients. Additional serums should be added only when they address a concern not adequately covered by Rx Complex Serum.

Rx Complex Serum, EGF-DNA Serum or Vita-C Serum?

Although these serums overlap in certain benefits, each has a different emphasis.

  • Choose Rx Complex Serum when you want one comprehensive treatment for hydration, fine lines, uneven tone, dark spots and texture. It contains peptides, tranexamic acid, niacinamide and a vitamin C derivative but also contains fragrance.
  • Choose EGF-DNA Serum when dehydration, dry or flaky texture and visible skin stress are the priorities. It combines growth-factor-related peptides with extensive hyaluronic hydration and does not list added fragrance.
  • Choose Vita-C Serum when antioxidant support, dullness and uneven pigmentation are the primary concerns and you prefer a more vitamin-C-focused formula.
  • Choose Hyaluronic Serum when straightforward hydration and visible plumping are needed without an extensive peptide or brightening complex.
  • Choose TGF-β Booster when advanced visible firmness and wrinkle support are the main priorities rather than pigmentation.

Most clients do not need all of these serums in the same routine. Selecting the formula that most closely matches the primary concern usually creates a more consistent—and much less chaotic—regimen.

Multi-Action Does Not Mean One-Step Skincare

Rx Complex Serum is designed to consolidate several treatment steps, not eliminate the fundamental structure of a skincare routine.

A complete morning routine still requires:

  1. Gentle cleansing when needed
  2. Rx Complex Serum
  3. Moisturizer suited to the skin
  4. Broad-spectrum sunscreen

The serum provides humectants, peptides, pigment-supporting ingredients, antioxidants and some lightweight lipids. However, it may not provide enough emollience for dry skin and does not provide sun protection.

The most significant benefit of an all-in-one serum is often consistency. A well-formulated product used every day will generally serve the skin better than an elaborate routine used only when someone has the patience, energy and correct moon phase.

Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide and Vitamin C

Rx Complex Serum approaches uneven tone with several complementary ingredients rather than depending on one brightening active.

Tranexamic acid is used topically in cosmetic formulas to improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation. Niacinamide supports barrier function and a more balanced-looking complexion, while magnesium ascorbyl phosphate provides vitamin C-derived antioxidant and brightening benefits.

The concentrations of these ingredients are not disclosed on the public product page. Rx Complex Serum should therefore be presented as a multi-action brightening treatment rather than compared directly with a dedicated high-percentage tranexamic acid, niacinamide or vitamin C serum.

Daily sunscreen remains essential. No brightening serum can produce reliable, lasting improvement while the skin continues to receive unprotected ultraviolet exposure.

Peptides and Expression Lines

Rx Complex Serum contains several peptides selected for different visible concerns.

Acetyl Octapeptide-3 and Syn®-Ake are frequently described as targeting expression lines. These cosmetic peptides are intended to soften the visible appearance of lines, but they are not injectable neuromodulators and should not be compared with Botox or described as paralyzing facial muscles.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 support a smoother, firmer-looking complexion. The presence of peptides does not guarantee a specific amount of new collagen, and results depend on the complete formulation, consistency of use and the individual’s skin.

Ingredients
  • Hya10+ Complex: Ten forms and derivatives of hyaluronic acid that help hydrate, soften and visibly plump the skin.
  • Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate: Forms the fermented base of the serum and supports conditioning, brightness and antioxidant care.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5: Helps improve the appearance of firmness and wrinkles.
  • Acetyl Octapeptide-3: Supports the visible softening of expression-related lines.
  • Syn®-Ake Peptide: Helps reduce the appearance of expression lines without functioning as an injectable neuromodulator.
  • Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7: Support smoother, more resilient-looking skin.
  • Nonapeptide-1: Helps promote a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
  • Tranexamic Acid: Targets the appearance of uneven pigmentation and dark spots.
  • Niacinamide: Supports the moisture barrier, visible clarity and even-looking tone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Rx Complex Serum truly an all-in-one product?

It combines hydration, peptides, antioxidants and complexion-brightening ingredients within one serum, so it may replace several treatment products. It does not replace cleanser, moisturizer or broad-spectrum sunscreen.

Can it erase wrinkles?

No cosmetic serum can erase every line or reverse the aging process. Rx Complex Serum can hydrate and visibly plump the skin while helping soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with consistent use.

Can it help fade dark spots?

Tranexamic acid, niacinamide, nonapeptide-1 and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate support a brighter, more even-looking complexion. Results vary according to the type and depth of pigmentation, and daily sunscreen is essential.

Is Rx Complex Serum a treatment for melasma?

No. It contains ingredients that may support the appearance of more even pigmentation, but melasma is complex and frequently requires a professionally guided program. Rx Complex Serum should not be presented as a stand-alone melasma treatment.

What type of vitamin C does it contain?

The formula contains magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, a water-soluble vitamin C derivative, as well as ascorbyl propyl hyaluronate. It does not list pure L-ascorbic acid.

What percentage of tranexamic acid does it contain?

Le Mieux does not disclose the tranexamic acid concentration on the current public product page. It should not be compared directly with a dedicated high-percentage tranexamic acid treatment.

What is Hya10+?

Hya10+ is Le Mieux’s blend of ten different forms and derivatives of hyaluronic acid. These ingredients help provide hydration, visible plumpness and a smoother-feeling surface.

Is Syn®-Ake the same as Botox?

No. Syn®-Ake is a cosmetic peptide used to soften the appearance of expression lines. It is not botulinum toxin, does not work like an injectable neuromodulator and should not be described as freezing or paralyzing facial muscles.

Is Rx Complex Serum suitable for sensitive skin?

Individual tolerance varies. The formula contains several hydrating and barrier-supportive ingredients, but it also contains fragrance and a complex mixture of active ingredients and botanical extracts. Highly sensitive or fragrance-reactive skin should patch test carefully.

Is it fragrance-free?

No. Fragrance is included in the published ingredient list.

Can oily or blemish-prone skin use it?

Its serum texture may suit some combination or oily complexions, but the formula also contains several botanical oils and fragrance. Begin with a small amount and patch test if you are prone to congestion or sensitivity. It is not an acne treatment.

Can I use it with retinol?

Yes, provided your skin tolerates the combination. Apply Rx Complex Serum before moisturizer. If sensitivity develops, use the serum in the morning and retinol in the evening or alternate evenings.

Can it be used with exfoliating acids?

It does not contain a primary exfoliating acid, so it may be combined with an acid routine. However, sensitive skin may become overwhelmed by too many active products. Alternate applications if the skin becomes tight, shiny, red or uncomfortable.

Can I use another vitamin C serum with it?

Usually, a second vitamin C serum is unnecessary because Rx Complex already contains magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. A separate formula may be considered when a stronger vitamin-C-focused treatment is required and the skin tolerates it, but more ingredients do not automatically produce better results.

Can I layer it with Hyaluronic Serum?

You can, but the combination is often redundant. Rx Complex Serum already contains ten forms and derivatives of hyaluronic acid. Add Hyaluronic Serum only if a skincare professional determines that your routine needs additional humectant hydration.

Does it replace moisturizer?

Not for most clients. The serum provides hydration and some lightweight lipids, but dry or mature skin will generally need a moisturizer to supply additional emollience and reduce moisture loss.

How much should I apply?

Le Mieux recommends three to five drops for the face and neck. Begin with three drops and add more only if needed.

Can it be used morning and night?

Yes. Apply it morning and evening after cleansing and toning. Follow with sunscreen during the day.

How long does it take to see results?

Hydration and visible plumpness may be noticeable quickly. Improvements in uneven tone, dark spots, fine lines and texture generally require consistent use over time. No specific timeline or guaranteed result is provided on the current official product page.

Can it be used after a professional procedure?

Only with approval from the professional who performed the treatment. Because the formula contains fragrance and multiple active ingredients, it may not be the first choice immediately after laser, microneedling, a peel or another procedure. Do not apply it to broken skin.

Can it be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

The formula does not list a retinoid, but it contains tranexamic acid and multiple active ingredients for which pregnancy-specific cosmetic data may be limited. Consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider before use.
