After the mask, massage in the remaining formula and follow with your targeted serums and cream. For significant pigmentation concerns, Masque PIGM 400 and Sérum PIGM 400 can complement each other, and daily sun protection remains essential. The night before an event is not the time for aggressive exfoliation or new actives.

Biologique Recherche Masque PIGM 400 is a single-use brightening mask created for skin with uneven-looking pigmentation, visible dark spots and a loss of radiance. This is not your average sheet mask.
Its ultra-soft Lyocell fabric, a cellulose fibre derived from wood, is saturated in a concentrated blend of brightening and antioxidant ingredients, including Ascorbyl Glucoside, a stabilized Vitamin C derivative. The sheet hugs the contours of the face to keep the formula in close contact with the skin for the full 15 minutes: the material is part of the care, not just packaging.
The goal is not to change your natural skin tone, but to soften the contrast created by uneven pigmentation so your own complexion looks more uniform and luminous. It gives an immediate visible radiance boost, and fits within a longer-term pigmentation-focused routine built on appropriate exfoliation, targeted care, antioxidant support and daily sun protection.

How to use
- Cleanse and thoroughly dry the face and neck, then apply the Lotion P50 selected for your Skin Instant if your skin comfortably tolerates it.
- Open the sachet and unfold Masque PIGM 400 completely.
- Remove the protective polyester film.
- Apply the Lyocell mask directly to the skin and gently smooth it over the contours of the face with your fingertips so it adheres closely.
- Leave on for 15 minutes.
- Remove and discard the mask. Do not rinse.
- Massage the remaining product into the face and neck with gentle smoothing movements from the centre outward, beginning at the neck and working upward.
- Follow with the serum and cream selected for your Skin Instant.
- Single-use product. For external use only.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I leave Masque PIGM 400 on?
The current Biologique Recherche directions specify 15 minutes. Older instructions often stated 20 minutes, but the current protocol is 15.
Do I rinse my face afterwards?
No. Remove and discard the mask, then massage the remaining product into the face and neck until absorbed. It is a single-use mask.
Will it change my natural skin tone?
No. Its purpose is to reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation and boost radiance so your natural complexion looks more uniform.
What is the difference with Sérum PIGM 400?
Masque PIGM 400 is occasional intensive care for immediate radiance. Sérum PIGM 400 is a daily serum that helps reduce the appearance of visible pigmentation marks over time. They can complement each other.
Does it help post-blemish marks?
It may be particularly useful when previous blemishes leave brown pigmentation behind. If the concern is mainly redness after blemishes, Sérum Iso-Placenta may be the more targeted choice.
Can sensitive skin use it?
The manufacturer's recommendation is based on pigmented and dull Skin Instants rather than sensitivity. If your skin is highly reactive or your barrier is compromised, contact us before introducing it.
