Understand the light. Find your rhythm. Make it part of your care.
Look beneath the surface, then choose a colour to follow its path through the skin.
Choose any colour to follow its illustrative path.
Light does not stop at a precise line. These paths show a general pattern, not a measured depth or a promise of results. Every skin and device is different.
A colour name alone does not tell us its depth or prove a benefit.
Included in this device

Often used in devices for some inflammatory pimples.
Often used together in studies of skin texture and fine lines.
The right device, dose and routine matter more than a colour count.
Used by some devices for inflammatory pimples. It does not treat every type of acne. Pigmentation-prone skin needs extra care.
Blue light is used in some devices for inflammatory pimples. It does not treat every kind of acne: blackheads, whiteheads and deeper cysts need a different approach.
Pigmentation-prone skin needs particular care with blue light. Read the caution below.

Red light is studied for concerns such as fine lines and skin texture. Trials have measured changes in collagen and elasticity, but the result belongs to the tested device and routine.

Near-infrared sits beyond visible red. It is often paired with red light in skin studies and generally reaches deeper than blue light. Invisible does not mean inactive—or automatically more effective.
Shown in taupe here because near-infrared has no visible colour.

Before & after, with the context that matters.

No. Wavelength describes the light. Irradiance describes how much light power reaches an area of skin; exposure time also shapes the dose. Compare the complete device and its tested routine.
Follow the model’s timer and frequency. More light is not automatically more useful; photobiomodulation responses depend on dose. Do not extend a session or stack treatments to chase faster results.
Heat is not a measure of LED effectiveness. Some hybrid devices add heating or radiofrequency as separate functions; those have their own instructions.
It depends on the model. Some routines begin on clean, dry skin; others require a particular mask, serum or conductive primer. Follow the device-specific ritual below.
General light research explains the technology. It does not certify the results of every product shown here.
A flexible LED mask for the neck and chest
Your skincare shouldn’t stop at your jawline. The skin on the neck and décolleté is thinner and often among the first to show sun exposure, with creases, crepey texture and uneven tone. Omnilux Contour Neck & Décolleté is a flexible silicone LED mask shaped for this area, pairing red (633 nm) and near-infrared (830 nm) light in a 10-minute session to help skin look smoother, firmer and more even.
Use 3 to 5 times per week for 4 to 6 weeks, then continue with maintenance sessions as desired. No more than one 10-minute session per day.
The neck and chest are often forgotten until they start to look older than the face. This mask is the easiest way to give them the same attention, and it pairs naturally with Omnilux Contour Face if you want to treat face and neck together. Keep acids, exfoliants and retinoids 24 to 48 hours away from a session, and protect this area with sunscreen every day. Not sure where to start? Book a consultation with our team.

All Omnilux devices
Compare the four wavelengths used across the Omnilux range. Each device has its own fixed combination.
Blue is more surface-focused. Red and near-infrared generally travel further. The right combination depends on the skin concern and the device—not how many colours it has.
The number in nm identifies the wavelength, not the power. Taupe represents invisible near-infrared light.
Blue light acts on light-sensitive compounds in acne-causing bacteria. Clear pairs it with red for mild to moderate inflammatory facial acne. It is not a general-purpose treatment for pigmentation or all types of blemishes.
Clear’s red and blue can look purple together. See its pigmentation and eye precautions in Before you begin.
Red appears in all five devices. With near-infrared in Contour and Men, it supports collagen-related improvements in firmness, lines and overall skin appearance. In Clear, it works with blue to help calm acne-related inflammation.
Contour Face, Men, Clear, Neck & Décolleté and Glove use red light.
830 nm accompanies red in Contour Face, Men, Neck & Décolleté and Glove. This combination supports collagen-related improvements in skin appearance. Results depend on the device, skin and routine.
Near-infrared is invisible. A brighter-looking mask is not necessarily more effective.
Men adds 1072 nm to red 633 nm and near-infrared 830 nm, a design intended for typically thicker male skin. Women can use it too. Extra depth does not guarantee extra benefit for every person.
The illustration is conceptual. It does not show a measured difference in depth between 830 nm and 1072 nm.
These controls explain the light; they do not change a device’s settings.

Start here, then read the instructions supplied with your device. This guide cannot clear you for treatment or cover every medical situation.
Contour Face, Men, Neck & Décolleté and Glove: ages 21+. Clear: ages 14+.
Omnilux lists the following contraindications for Contour, Men and Clear. Read the full instructions for your exact device before use.
Have your pharmacist or prescriber check your exact medicines and supplements for light sensitivity. Omnilux advises against combining treatment with retinol or isotretinoin without individual professional guidance. Never stop a prescribed medicine to use a mask.
Clear has integrated eye shields; follow its fitting instructions. Contour and Men do not normally require eye protection, but this does not override eye contraindications. If you have an eye condition or sensitivity, ask your eye-care professional first.
Omnilux advises against LED use if you have cancer or are undergoing cancer treatment. Discuss your situation and medicines with your oncology team before considering a device.
Age 14+. For mild to moderate inflammatory facial acne. Do not use for severe acne, only blackheads/whiteheads without inflamed spots, or clear skin to prevent spots. Use four times weekly for six weeks, then a break; never more than six consecutive weeks.
Blue light can cause temporary darkening, especially in skin prone to pigmentation and Fitzpatrick types IV–VI. Ask a dermatologist if this applies to you. Use the integrated eye shields as instructed; light-sensitive or inherited eye conditions are contraindications.
The manufacturer says Clear must not be shared. This also matters for demonstrations: our Edmonton team can explain Clear and its fit, but a shared Clear treatment is not appropriate. The general in-store mask invitation does not override this restriction.
Follow your device’s sensitivity test. The guides describe a 10-minute session on the inner arm, followed by a wait of at least six hours. If redness or itching develops, do not continue. Passing a test does not cancel a contraindication.
Use clean, bare skin; remove makeup, sunscreen and aftershave. Check skincare compatibility first and apply suitable skincare afterwards. Follow your device’s cleaning and fitting instructions. More sessions are not a shortcut to results.
Stop for burning, unusual discomfort, a marked skin reaction, headache or a visual change. Seek appropriate medical advice if symptoms persist or concern you. Do not use a damaged device or use it while charging.
Skin claims and intended uses differ by device and country. This guide covers the five full-size Omnilux devices; Mini devices have their own instructions.
Texture, tone, firmness & fine lines
You want to improve the appearance of fine lines, firmness, texture and uneven-looking tone. Contour is a starting point for full-face skin rejuvenation, even when wrinkles are not your main concern.
What makes it different
633 nm red and 830 nm near-infrared support collagen-related improvements. Choose a consistent protocol for overall skin appearance, with two complementary wavelengths.
Thicker-skin design & shaving-related irritation
You want Contour’s broader skin benefits with a design for thicker skin. Men may also help calm shaving-related redness and irritation. Dense facial hair can reduce how much light reaches the skin.
What makes it different
Adds 1072 nm, designed to reach deeper into typically thicker male skin. Women can use Men too. Skin thickness, priorities and fit matter more than the product name; the extra wavelength is not proof of better results for everyone.
Active breakouts & acne-related inflammation
Your priority is mild to moderate inflammatory facial acne. This can include hormonally triggered acne within that severity range; Clear does not treat its hormonal cause.
What makes it different
Blue targets acne-causing bacteria; red helps calm acne-related inflammation. Not for severe acne, clear skin as prevention, or blackheads/whiteheads without inflamed spots. Review Clear’s extra precautions before choosing.
