Some skin needs more water. Other skin needs to be reconditioned. Biologique Recherche Crème Masque Vernix VG is a rich protective and reconditioning care created for skin that feels depleted, stressed or no longer able to maintain comfort as well as it once did.

It is inspired by vernix caseosa, the protective film made of water, lipids and proteins that covers the skin before birth. The formula does not contain human vernix: it recreates that idea with lipids such as Ceramide NG, Squalane, Lecithin and plant sterols, proteins, a peptide, botanical oils and antioxidant ingredients to help nourish the epidermis and reinforce its natural protective environment.

The texture forms a comforting veil over the complexion, helping skin feel softer, more supple and better protected against dryness and everyday external stress. Its approach is not simply to add more hydration, but to nourish, recondition and protect.

How to use

1. As a cream: apply morning and/or evening to clean skin over the face, neck and décolleté, after your Lotion P50 and serums.
2. Massage gently until absorbed.
3. As an intensive mask: apply a thin layer over clean skin on the face, neck and décolleté.
4. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.
5. Gently remove any excess with a damp cotton pad; there is no need to aggressively rinse away every trace.
6. Avoid contact with the eyes.
7. For external use only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Crème Masque Vernix VG a moisturizer or a mask?

Both. It can be used morning and/or evening as a cream, or applied as a thin 15 to 20 minute intensive mask.

Does it contain human vernix?

No. The current INCI does not list human vernix. The product is inspired by its composition and protective function.

Do I rinse it off completely after the mask?

No aggressive rinsing is required. Gently remove the excess with a damp cotton pad after 15 to 20 minutes.

Can I leave it on overnight?

The official mask directions specify 15 to 20 minutes. For longer or overnight use, use it according to its cream application method.

What is the difference with Masque Visolastine+?

Masque Visolastine+ is primarily a long-lasting hydration mask for dehydrated Skin Instants. Crème Masque Vernix VG is richer and focused on protection, lipid support and reconditioning depleted skin.

Does it contain ceramides or wheat?
