MELINE Gentle Foam

A gentle 150 ml foaming cleanser with panthenol, bisabolol and an essential mineral complex to cleanse comfortably while preparing the skin for a targeted pigmentation routine.

The essential first step in the MeLine protocol, MeLine Gentle Foam is a mild daily cleanser created to remove impurities, excess oil and accumulated residue without leaving the skin feeling unnecessarily stripped.

Its foaming formula combines glycerin and dexpanthenol to support hydration, while bisabolol helps soothe and comfort the complexion. A blend of magnesium, zinc and copper minerals complements the formula, helping maintain the balanced skin environment needed during an active pigmentation routine.

Suitable for the face and body, MeLine Gentle Foam helps preserve the skin’s hydrolipid mantle while creating a clean, comfortable foundation for the targeted products that follow. It can be used before, during and after professional MeLine pigmentation protocols according to your skincare professional’s directions.

How to Use

Use every morning and evening.

2. Dispense a small amount of foam into clean hands.
3. Massage gently over the skin using light circular motions for approximately one to two minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
5. Pat the skin dry without rubbing.
6. Continue with the MeLine products recommended for your pigmentation protocol.

When wearing heavy makeup or water-resistant sunscreen, remove it with an appropriate first cleanser before using MeLine Gentle Foam.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use and consult your skincare professional if persistent irritation develops.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation

Clean skin should feel comfortable—not squeaky.

Pigmentation routines often contain exfoliating acids, retinal and other intensive ingredients. The cleansing step should remove residue without adding unnecessary friction or leaving the skin feeling tight.

Use lukewarm rather than hot water, massage with your fingertips and avoid facial brushes or abrasive cleansing cloths while following an active MeLine protocol. After cleansing, gently pat the skin dry and allow it to dry completely before applying your targeted products.

After an in-clinic treatment, follow your practitioner’s directions regarding when to resume cleansing and active home care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does MeLine Gentle Foam improve dark spots?

MeLine Gentle Foam does not replace a targeted pigmentation serum or treatment. Its role is to cleanse the skin comfortably and prepare it for the leave-on MeLine products responsible for addressing visible pigmentation.

How often should I use MeLine Gentle Foam?

Use it every morning and evening unless your skincare professional recommends a different schedule after a professional treatment.

Is MeLine Gentle Foam suitable for every skin phototype?

Yes. Unlike MeLine’s phototype-specific Caucasian and Ethnic Skin formulas, Gentle Foam can be incorporated into pigmentation routines for all phototypes when well tolerated.

Can I use it if I am not following a complete MeLine protocol?

Yes. It can be used as a daily foaming cleanser outside a complete MeLine protocol, although it is specifically designed to complement the brand’s pigmentation-focused home care.

Can it be used on the body?

Yes. MeLine identifies Gentle Foam for use on both the face and body. It can be used to cleanse body areas receiving targeted MeLine products.

Will it remove makeup and sunscreen?

It helps remove daily impurities, excess oil and light residue. For heavier makeup or water-resistant sunscreen, use an appropriate makeup remover or first cleanser before following with MeLine Gentle Foam.

Does MeLine Gentle Foam exfoliate the skin?

The formula contains lactic acid, but it should primarily be considered a daily rinse-off cleanser rather than an exfoliating treatment. Use a separate exfoliating product only when it is appropriate for your MeLine protocol.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The formula contains soothing ingredients such as panthenol and bisabolol, but it also contains fragrance and limonene. Highly reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin should review the full ingredient list and consult a skincare professional before use.

Is MeLine Gentle Foam fragrance-free?

No. The published ingredient list includes Parfum and Limonene. Clients with fragrance allergies or known sensitivities should review the packaging carefully before use.

Can I use it after a professional MeLine treatment?

MeLine Gentle Foam is designed to complement professional care and keep skin comfortable. However, follow your practitioner’s instructions regarding when to resume cleansing after a peel or other intensive professional treatment.
