Exfoliation, wrapped in comfort.

Gentle AHA Cream is the one we suggest when dry or sensitive skin looks dull and feels rough, but a classic acid serum would be too much. Lactic acid is one of the gentlest AHAs and helps the skin hold on to moisture, and here it comes in a rich cream with glycerin, vitamin E and cholesterol, so the skin feels comforted while the surface smooths out.

It is also part of our Biophora Sensitive Skincare Kit. Start a few evenings a week, and if your skin reacts to essential oils, talk to us first: it contains lavender oil.

Gentle AHA Cream or Derma Rich Moisturizer?

Both are rich and comforting, but they do different jobs. Gentle AHA Cream contains lactic acid, so it gently exfoliates while it moisturizes. Derma Rich Moisturizer has no exfoliating acid; it is pure comfort and barrier support for dry, sensitive skin.

Our lens: many of our clients use both. Derma Rich in the morning and on most evenings, and Gentle AHA Cream two or three evenings a week, when the skin looks dull or feels rough. If your skin is having a reactive day, skip the AHA and stay with Derma Rich.

A thoughtful choice if…

Your skin is dry, sensitive or dull, it feels rough or flaky, and you want gentle exfoliation without giving up comfort.

Consider first…

It contains lavender oil, so patch test first if essential oils bother you. Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, and don’t use it on the same evening as another exfoliant or retinol until you know how your skin tolerates both.
