Bioactive Cleanser or Calming Cleanser?

Both are pH-balanced gels, but they do different jobs. Bioactive Cleanser adds 1% glycolic acid, green tea and fruit extracts for skin that gets congested or oily. Calming Cleanser leaves the acid out and leans on aloe for skin that is dry, sensitive or reactive.

Our lens: if your skin feels tight, stings easily or flushes, choose Calming Cleanser. If your T-zone gets shiny by noon and pores clog easily, Bioactive Cleanser is the better daily match.

  1. Massage onto damp skin

    Work over the face and neck for 45 seconds to 1 minute, then rinse well with lukewarm water.

  2. Tone

    Sweep on your toner to refine and prepare the skin.

  3. Serum and moisturizer

    Follow with your serum, then a moisturizer suited to your skin.

  4. Finish with SPF

    In the morning, sunscreen is always the last step, especially with glycolic acid in your routine.

A few useful details before making it part of your routine.

Can I use it every day?

Yes. At 1% glycolic acid it is made for morning and evening use. Just wear SPF every day, since glycolic acid can increase sun sensitivity.

Will it dry out my skin?

It is pH-balanced and formulated not to strip. If your skin still feels tight afterwards, it is likely on the dry or sensitive side, and Calming Cleanser or Latte Blu will be more comfortable.

Can I use it with retinol or other exfoliants?

Usually, yes: it rinses off, so its exfoliating effect is mild. If you use retinol or a strong acid and your skin starts to sting or flake, switch to Calming Cleanser on those evenings.

Does it contain fragrance or essential oils?

There is no added fragrance, but it contains grapefruit oil and citrus extracts. If your skin reacts to essential oils, patch test first or speak with our estheticians.

Is it good for breakout-prone skin?
