Masque Biofixine

THE EXPRESSION-LINE RESET MASK

Your face is supposed to move.

Smile lines, forehead movement and expression are part of being human. The conversation changes when those lines begin to remain visible even after the expression has relaxed.

Biologique Recherche Masque Biofixine is an intensive smoothing mask designed to address both expression lines created by repeated movement and more settled wrinkles associated with changes in the skin over time.

At the heart of the formula is a Myorelax Peptide selected to help reduce the appearance of lines associated with muscle micro-tension. Hydrating, antioxidant and film-forming ingredients complement that action by plumping dehydration lines and helping maintain the integrity of the skin barrier.

After 15 to 20 minutes, wrinkles appear softer, skin looks smoother and facial features appear more relaxed and refined.

This is the mask we reach for when the concern isn't necessarily sagging.

It's lines that are starting to stay.

Skin Instant:

Recommended for Skin Instants showing the first signs of wrinkles.

We particularly think about Masque Biofixine when skin is experiencing:

• Expression lines
• Forehead lines
• Fine lines around areas of frequent movement
• Early wrinkles around the mouth
• Dehydration lines
• Reduced smoothness
• Skin that appears more lined when tired or dehydrated
• A desire for an intensive wrinkle-smoothing treatment

Not All Wrinkles Form the Same Way

This is what makes Masque Biofixine interesting.

Biologique Recherche distinguishes between two broad types of wrinkles.

Mechanical wrinkles — or expression lines

These develop in areas repeatedly affected by facial movement.

Think:

• Forehead lines
• Frown lines
• Crow's-feet
• Lines created around the mouth through expression

Repeated muscle contractions continually fold the skin in the same places.

At first, those lines may appear only while the face is moving.

Eventually, some begin to remain visible at rest.

Static wrinkles

These are more closely associated with changes in the skin itself over time.

Factors affecting hydration, structural proteins, environmental exposure and the natural evolution of the skin can all make these lines increasingly visible.

Masque Biofixine is interesting because it approaches both conversations within one formula.

What Does “Myorelaxing” Mean in Skincare?

“Myorelaxing” sounds considerably more dramatic than it needs to.

Masque Biofixine contains Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, which Biologique Recherche uses as its Myorelax Peptide.

Its role is associated with helping reduce the appearance of wrinkles linked to muscle micro-tension.

This does not mean a cosmetic mask freezes facial muscles or behaves like an injectable neuromodulator.

Your face will still move.

You will still smile.

The purpose is cosmetic:

help expression-related lines appear smoother and less pronounced.

Why Hydration Matters for Wrinkles

Not every visible line represents the same level of structural change.

When skin becomes dehydrated, fine surface lines can suddenly look much more noticeable.

These dehydration lines may appear:

• Around the eyes
• Across the forehead
• Around the mouth
• Wherever the skin is particularly thin or mobile

Masque Biofixine contains humectant and emollient ingredients that help restore comfort and plump the appearance of these lines.

That is why the finished result is not simply “firm.”

The skin looks smoother, softer and more rested.

How to Use:

• After cleansing, apply a generous layer of Masque Biofixine over the face, neck and décolleté.
• Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water, then gently dry the skin.
• Follow with the Biologique Recherche serums and cream appropriate for your Skin Instant.
• For external use only.

Loshen & Crem’s Recommendation:

Masque Biofixine is what we think about when a client tells us:

• “My forehead lines are starting to stay.”
• “I can see my expression lines even when I'm not making the expression.”
• “My skin looks much more lined when I'm tired.”
• “I want something specifically for wrinkles, not necessarily sagging.”
• “I need my skin to look smoother before an event.”

That distinction matters.

If you're looking in the mirror thinking:

“My jawline has changed.”

We may be having a Platysma or VG Tensil conversation.

If you're thinking:

“These lines aren't disappearing anymore.”

That is where Biofixine becomes much more interesting.

Its personality is wrinkle smoothing, not facial restructuring.

The Expression-Line Zones

Masque Biofixine makes particular sense across the areas of the face that move constantly.

Think:

Forehead
Repeated eyebrow movement can make horizontal lines increasingly visible.

Between the brows
Frequent frowning or concentration can emphasize vertical expression lines.

Around the eyes
Smiling and squinting repeatedly fold extremely delicate skin.

Around the mouth
Talking, smiling and pursing the lips continually move this area.

That does not mean you need to stop expressing yourself.

Skincare would become very boring if the recommendation were simply:

“Try not to smile.”

The smarter approach is supporting the skin where movement happens most.

Masque Biofixine vs. Crème Biofixine

These products belong naturally together, but their roles are different.

Masque Biofixine provides:

• An intensive 15–20 minute treatment
• Expression-line smoothing
• Visible plumping
• Hydration
• Occasional concentrated wrinkle care

Crème Biofixine provides:

• Ongoing wrinkle-focused care
• Daily moisturizing support
• Treatment for existing and emerging wrinkles
• Long-term integration into the routine

Think:

• Masque Biofixine → intensive wrinkle treatment
• Crème Biofixine → daily wrinkle treatment

Masque Biofixine vs. Elastine

These two make sense when wrinkles and expression lines are part of the concern, but one is a mask and the other is a serum.

Masque Biofixine is particularly interesting when you want:

• An intensive treatment
• Immediate smoothing
• Visible plumping
• An occasional wrinkle-focused mask

Elastine is more appropriate when you want:

• Daily serum support
• Improved skin elasticity
• Expression-line care
• Ongoing wrinkle smoothing

Think:

• Biofixine → intensive expression-line reset
• Elastine → ongoing elasticity + wrinkle serum

Masque Biofixine vs. Masque Caviar Vert

These are both wrinkle-focused masks, but their personalities are completely different.

Masque Biofixine focuses on:

• Expression lines
• Static wrinkles
• Dehydration lines
• Muscle micro-tension
• Smoothing

Masque Caviar Vert focuses on:

• Wrinkles
• Visible tautening
• Reduced firmness
• Facial structure
• A more sculpted-looking result

Think:

• Biofixine → soften the lines
• Caviar Vert → tighten the appearance

If the wrinkles themselves are what you notice first, Biofixine may make more sense.

If the entire face looks less taut or supported, Caviar Vert enters a different conversation.

Ingredients:

• Acetyl Hexapeptide-8: Biologique Recherche's Myorelax Peptide, incorporated to help reduce the appearance of expression lines associated with muscle micro-tension.

Questions We Get About Masque Biofixine

What is Biologique Recherche Masque Biofixine?

Masque Biofixine is an intensive anti-wrinkle, myorelaxing and regenerating facial mask designed for Skin Instants showing the first signs of wrinkles.

It targets both static wrinkles associated with changes in the skin and mechanical wrinkles associated with repeated facial expressions.

What is the difference between a static wrinkle and an expression line?

Expression lines are associated with repeated facial movements such as smiling, squinting or raising the eyebrows.

Static wrinkles remain visible even when the face is relaxed and are more closely associated with changes in skin structure over time.

Masque Biofixine is formulated to improve the appearance of both.

What does “myorelaxing” mean?

In Masque Biofixine, it refers to the cosmetic action of its Myorelax Peptide on wrinkles associated with muscle micro-tension.

It does not mean that the mask paralyzes or freezes facial muscles.

Does Masque Biofixine contain Acetyl Hexapeptide-8?

Yes.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 appears in the current official Biologique Recherche ingredient list.

Is Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 the same as Botox?

No.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a topical cosmetic peptide.

Botulinum toxin is a prescription injectable treatment that works through an entirely different mechanism.

We would never describe a skincare mask as “Botox in a jar.”

Does Masque Biofixine help forehead lines?

It can be particularly interesting for forehead wrinkles because that area is heavily influenced by repeated facial movement.

Does Masque Biofixine help crow's-feet?

The mask is designed for expression lines and wrinkles broadly.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes themselves, and use dedicated eye-contour products when that delicate area requires more targeted care.

Does Masque Biofixine help dehydration lines?

Yes.

Biologique Recherche specifically states that its hydrating ingredients help act on dehydration lines while supporting the skin barrier.

Is Masque Biofixine a firming mask?

Its primary current positioning is anti-wrinkle, myorelaxing and regenerating.

While facial features can appear more tightened and refined after use, we would not make generalized facial lifting its primary story.

Is Masque Biofixine good for sagging skin?

If sagging and reduced facial contour definition are the main concerns, treatments such as VG Tensil, Platysma or Masque Caviar Vert may be more targeted.

Masque Biofixine is specifically focused on wrinkles and expression lines.

Is Masque Biofixine hydrating?

Yes.

Its formula contains Glycerin, Biosaccharide Gum-1, botanical oils and other ingredients that help support hydration and comfort.

Hydration complements the wrinkle-smoothing action rather than being the mask's only purpose.

How long should I leave Masque Biofixine on?

Biologique Recherche currently recommends 15 to 20 minutes.

Should I rinse Masque Biofixine with warm or cold water?

The current manufacturer instructions specify warm water.

This is worth noting because many other current Biologique Recherche masks use cold-water removal.

How often should I use Masque Biofixine?

Biologique Recherche's current consumer page does not prescribe one universal weekly frequency.

Use should reflect your current Skin Instant and the rest of your wrinkle-focused routine.

What is the difference between Masque Biofixine and Crème Biofixine?

Masque Biofixine provides an intensive occasional treatment for wrinkles and expression lines.

Crème Biofixine provides the ongoing moisturizing and wrinkle-focused step within the daily routine.

What is the difference between Masque Biofixine and Elastine?

Masque Biofixine is an intensive wrinkle treatment mask.

Elastine is an ongoing serum focused primarily on skin elasticity and wrinkle smoothing.

What is the difference between Masque Biofixine and Masque Caviar Vert?

Masque Biofixine focuses more specifically on expression lines, static wrinkles and smoothing.

Masque Caviar Vert is a biocellulose mask with a stronger tautening and facial-structure focus.

Is Masque Biofixine good before an event?

Yes.

When wrinkles and dehydration lines appear more pronounced, its smoothing and plumping action can make it a beautiful pre-event treatment.
