Night Before Christmas - Candle

Dancing Sugar Plums

The anticipation of Christmas Eve, beautifully captured.

Glasshouse Fragrances Night Before Christmas is a fruity-floral Christmas candle that brings together festive fruits, elegant florals and warm spice. Blackcurrant and redcurrant create a juicy opening, followed by plum, lemon, lavender and rose. Musk, oak moss and spice add a lingering depth, capturing the nostalgic sweetness of plum puddings and the warmth of a home ready for Christmas.

Rich, inviting and wonderfully festive, it is a lovely choice for those who enjoy a bold holiday fragrance with fruit, flowers and spice. Light it while preparing for a Christmas gathering, settling into a favourite tradition or making an ordinary December evening feel a little more special.

How to Use

Before each burn, trim the cooled wicks to 7 mm, keep them upright and remove any wick trimmings from the wax. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, pets and flammable materials.

Light all wicks each time you use the candle. Follow the recommended burning period for your chosen size:

380 g candle: Burn for one to four hours at a time.
760 g candle: Burn for two to four hours at a time.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Stop using it when 10 mm of unmelted wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Never allow the flame to touch the side of the glass.

Extinguish with a candle snuffer; do not use water or the lid. Allow the wax to solidify and the vessel to cool completely before handling. Do not use if the glass is cracked, chipped or damaged. Always follow the safety instructions supplied with your candle.

The Mood, by Loshen & Crem

We imagine Christmas Eve in a country house: velvet ribbons, silver catching the candlelight and a table set with pieces brought out just for the occasion. Guests have arrived, music carries from the next room and the evening feels full of possibility.

Night Before Christmas is the candle we would choose for that atmosphere—gracious, festive and a little theatrical, with all the warmth of a familiar tradition.

We would light it in a spacious living room while getting ready to welcome friends, or during a quiet evening beside the Christmas tree. For gifting, we would choose it for someone who treasures the occasion as much as the celebration: the handwritten place cards, the favourite glassware and the thoughtful details that make everyone feel welcome.
